Feel free to check my completed map tiers. I will soon reach 5 thousand. I've only gotten a single exalt drop. You do understand that the more I play the more you cant blame bad luck for this, right? Of course the core drops were reduced.

Check my map tiers. Less than 1k and I got 3 exalts this league. qq more

Something fun that I ran into over at reddit

https://old.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/hi47ig/harvest_league_broke_historical_records_for/

tldr: harvest lost 36% of the player count on steam after 1 week, the highest ever recorded

And if we read that statistic more accurately, it's a lot worse in reality, since we have a pandemic and even if the lockdown state has been going down, most people still cannot go on vacation anyway, so they have to stay at home / spend more time at home...

I say, let's hope this league will be a good lesson to GGG and maybe they can start showing us some respect again...

I'm trolling the forums, not playing (I did get to maps). Does that count as a drop out?

No, the game is trash because the base loot got reduced. You can run hundreds of maps without a single exalt with your only source of currency being fragments. THIS is actually degrading the game to a state where very little actually happens, very little progress is being made and very little number of players are left playing it.

I think they are running an experiment to see if the trash players; that are never happy, always complain, and are generally toxic people in the community would leave if they reduced loot.

It would be great if they all did leave, preferably forever. 👍
Harvest made trade league SSF because you can just craft, link, socket, recolor everything even with T1 seeds.

Meanwhile you're stopping every few maps because your seed stash is so small and you have excess piling up in your valuable stash tabs.

Probably the best league mechanic for SSF, the rest it's just a barren wasteland.

They said it would be easy and timeless to maintain the garden, it isn't true. It's a huge gameplay flow stopper even if you do just T1 seeds, and I can't imagine the time spend going higher.

Still, I can't blame them for trying something quite different but yeah, already it's getting quiet, that usually takes 3-4 weeks not 1.

EX has always been RNG.

I've got 2 once before I hit maps, I've leveled one league to 91 before I got one.

Currency is not an issue, last league was just beyond stupid that currency meant nothing it was so common because of delirium in every map.

I had no tab under 25 last league because it wasn't worth my time to stop for anything less, THAT shouldn't happen so early.

This league is no harder, I found some rare shield with nice life/res, and some VD player snapped it up for 50c instantly.

Good rare bases are selling for heaps.

If you're SSF and need EX, well that's different but the games not balanced for SSF.

The weirdest part is I think they knew this would happen yet pushed the league out anyway.

Of course they did. They said several times that this league is an "experiment", and I'm fairly sure they're not just talking about the actual mechanics, but also the lack of (very) easy access to drops/currency. I think it's pretty clear to say that the MASSIVE increse in drops these last leagues (Legion, Blight, Metamorph, Delirium) needed a break - or a stop - or a reset, if you like. This league brings players back on earth, forcing/teaching them how to use the tool the game has to offer.

But still; people demand MORE loot, MORE monsters and MORE everything. And if they don't get it, they whine. While other people whine about the game being bloated with "too much" different content. They can't satisfy both sides.

We have Legion in the core game. We have Metamorph in the core game. We have Blight in the core game. We have Delirium in the core game. Yet, the moment a league adds minimum extra monsters and/or loot, the game is "trash" and "vomit" because it's "fucking unrewarding". Why? Because these last leagues, players are used to currency showers. They are spoiled.

Now, is Harvest the best league ever? No, of course not - far from. Is it the worst? No - far from. But it's different and a breath of fresh air. The loss of players? A shame. Sad. Buhu. But I'm fairly sure it won't hurt the game in the long run. In fact, it can do just the opposite.

spoiled lol we playing a game dude we wanna have funn. so you want 99% of player base to find 1-2 ex in 3 months? all leagues only last 3 months after that they are put in standrt where all there loot is worth nothing so what is the problem getting alot loot each league to be able to play/build/experiment stuff of the new league instead of being stuck on white maps with lvl90 char with trash gear aswel. if you like the slow and bad drops you should play standrt and stop calling people spoiled. its aboud having fun not being spoiled or not. its pretty clear most people like good drops in new leagues and alot dislike harvest
I think the people trying to defend the lack of ex drops are being a little dishonest.

Yeah, its always been rng based, but...

Bots have always been a thing.

Exalts have never climbed so high so fast, at least as long as I've been here.

Would make sense to say they gotten more rare and thus interpret that as reduced drop rate.

You can't just blame the bots, it's not like they ever stopped being a thing, and given there's quite a bit of feedback noting the lack of currency, it's not just the lack of a mechanic boosting mob density.
Yep, totally over league play.
I really wish people who played more or didn't have crap characters would disagree with me but alas, it seems like poor drops has always been a reality for those people.
