Bloom always on?
" thanks, i found it looking a u/bex_ggg recent posts... Sadge it's NOT what i was hoping for. (she says ALL the instances where bloom is overbearing are a bug and doesn't mention anything about bringing back the option to turn it off. very sad, and bad.) it's not looking good at all, they might just be that dense after all. yeah, burning my eye when using my build in Delve is a "bug", not a design failure....

Man, that comment by Bex is REALLY unsettling.
"No, no, it's fine, you aren't getting headaches or anything, just let us fix it." Completely beyond idiotic to not allow disabling of this setting. It's eerily reminiscent of when Blizzard began making confounding, unjustifiable design decisions and WoW began plummeting downhill. 5 days now of headaches and STILL no outlook of GGG taking this issue seriously at all!!!
As usual this will probably end up with us having to find a "homebrew" solution to save our sanity. Has anyone come up with a method of amending any of the game files to force Bloom off? I can't find anything on the web by Goggling? My opinion of GGG is really taking a pounding at the moment. This was one thing that they could have taken seriously that would have gone a long, long way to redemption in my eyes. I loved Path of Exile.
I do not love Path of RNG. Bloom gives me migraines, the over usage of darkness strains my eyes. Save our game, remove all of the constant RNG and allow us to turn off Bloom or give us an in game brightness control! |

I just hope someone with wits finds a config parameter or something...
I don't have headaches or eye problems, but it just feels so wrong to check if my screen is clean every 5 minutes... Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

Is this bloom, and is this what everyone is talking about? Because I posted a bug at https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2886475 because the game is almost unplayable for me.
