Bloom always on?

This was posted over in bugtalk but figured it might be seen here.
Forever there was always the option to disable Bloom, not its On alot, or on. It just makes everything blurry and kills my eyes/cant play very long without a headache. Why was the disable option taken out, and can we get it back? Last bumped on Jul 26, 2020, 12:09:40 AM

I do not love Path of RNG. Bloom gives me migraines, the over usage of darkness strains my eyes. Save our game, remove all of the constant RNG and allow us to turn off Bloom or give us an in game brightness control! |

I hate to be all doom and gloom about the bloom (sorry, couldn't resist), but seriously, and this is no hyperbole, it makes me not even want to play until the option is put back in. It's THAT bad for me :/
I really can't understand why the "none" option was removed. Kind of unfathomable. IGN Weebletz, Mirana_Callidus

I dunno what it is, but I have horrible flicker/blur/bloom thing going on. Yesterday was perfect. Now the game is practically unplayable.

I have found a solution.
Wear some sunglasses to play the game. I can almost run around my hideout without a seizure/migraine with mine on. Seriously GGG, we need an option to turn this off as a matter of urgency. The game causes me a headache after a short while now. I feel terrible for people who might suffer from Epilepsy or seizures. You may find you might have to include a warning for those people or receive some legal action without a setting to disable this new bloom nonsense. What were you guys thinking with this change? I loved Path of Exile.

Yeah it's awful.
I started the game up after patching and couldn't figure out why everything was so blurry and washed out. After messing about with some settings I figured out it was Bloom and turned it down to slight and the game looks far better. Please give us the option to turn it off completely, it is not helpful or nice to look at in this type of game. |

It reminds me of when they removed dx9 with the option to remove shadow completely. Now people are forced to use shadows. Sad :/
