Sirus fight is the best boss fight in the game

I was thinking, is there any reason to keep Sirus locked to endgame after all?
The fight is so good and nice that every player should encounter it as soon as possible.

Put him in the Twilight Strand instead of Hillock and he needs to be killed to enter Lioneye's Watch.

Show new players right away just how amazing the game is.

How about when Simon says "Lights out"
The whole arena goes dark and you can't see the obstacles and skill effects anymore

And when Syrup says "Opposite Day"
All your controls are reversed and he deals chaos damage instead of normal damage and physical damage instead of chaos damage

And when Sirius says "Omae wa mo shindeiru"
You just die if you don't portal out immediately
Need more brains, exile?
Can you also make it 50% chance to be twinned ? And 75% chance to trigger Possessed Foe prophecy , even if you don't have it ?
stupidest boss fight ive done. sits up in iframe mode pelting me for 5 solid minutes with no chance to attack? thats some next level BS
Add new skill warcry of fear- when used your character drops weapon and flees for 4 seconds (can flee into storm)

Add new moveset- sirus summons 8 clones of himself and they all including him behaves like that map boss from https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Whakawairua_Tuahu_(War_for_the_Atlas)
When damaging wrong sirus you heal him instead.

When you return to your hidetout while he is still alive- he come to you,to your hideout.

Add 50% chance that sirus fakes his death and make him still come to your hideout to spamm deatomization storms.

Edit: oh also, while we are at it, make sirus randomly apear in random maps disguising as other master with mission and when you start talk to him he casts his death beam in your face and disapears.

Nevermind me, I'm stupid and realized the entire thread's a shitpost.

Joke's on you, I had the pleasure to re-read some of the stuff discussed and some of it was implemented in the Harvest mechanics.

1. Make Meteor Maze be like this, and limit escaping time to 3 sec.

They made a forced arena in the Avatar of the grove to limit escaping time.

The arena was made darker compared to Sirus

"
additionally you can ensure that the degen pools cover the whole arena, not just the meteor impact locations,

They added a degen pool that covered the entire screen, and not only did it cover the whole screen, it was also fixed "Fixed a bug where the Sacred Ashes degeneration could persist after the Avatar of the Grove encounter was completed." from a state where it could not be removed from the arena.

I even had the pleasure of recording the event.

And since Sirus plenty of elemental damage, he should instead apply all elemental ailments 100% on hit, including scorch, sap and brittle.

One of the tier 4 bosses, stacks Grasping vines on you, disabling all movement skills 100% of the time.

He shouldn't spawn after like 50 maps, make that at least 100 maps. And then make it so there's only a chance of actually meeting him after all other conquerors are defeated, instead of a guaranteed fight.

Not only does Avatar of the Grove take 100 maps to fight, YOU also have to do additional maps to get the %completion via fighting seed monsters.

Can you imagine if one of GGG devs actually read our "suggestions" and implemented them next league, just to go around saying: "But you asked for it"?

I sure can.

That is seriously hilarious and sad both at once

want to thank developers for creating this awsome boss fight, please, ggg, dont listen all the whining around, new expansion is near, keep the fight in the same shape as it is or improve it by increasing difficulty.

im so glad we have a boss that demands something more from a player other than just walking in circles like in elder, uber elder fight. im completely disappointed in path of exile community, just imagine how stupid the average player is that cant actually LEARN few bosses' voicelines to understand the death beam timings to be able to dodge it.

also, i think dev team is totally succeeded of creating a boss fight that is really rewarding. player can farm dozens of exalts by farming sirus a8, and we can say that the problem of unrewarding bosses in the game is almost solved. really appriciate.

- make him cast death beam more often.
- make him cast death beam with more rotation speed if the player is in melee range, so it will be impossible to dodge it just running in circles in close range.
- make a0-a7 fight more challenging (quad beam phase).
- make cloud degen stackable like darkness in delve.

and this would be good if we can fight uber sirus (accompanied by elder or shaper or both) or delirium sirus or delirium uber sirus.

The post of someone who doesn't understands anything about good game design.

First off, let's start with colour pallet. It's hard to see anything because everything is the same colour. Blinding the players to what is happening is tha very poor way of implementing difficulty.

Second, it's not as if players don't learn the fight, but there is this time when he does the die die die attack which essencially give you less than 1 second to dodge, most of the times from off screen so you don't even know if the way you are moving is towards the beam of sideways to it and on top of that there is the quad laser rotating which does a lot of damage. This is of absolute garbage design. I have no problem with a fight being hard, I have a problem with a fight not even being fair.

another request :

the storms in the current form are just waste, place make them teleport ramdomly to a new location with decreasing timeout and climaxing in last phase with 50% increase in size with each teleport.

also the meteor cast on sirus position is a joke, we need it to cover the complete arena ( hey, its a meteor ! ), with decreasing area dps to the other perimeter to keep it fair.

Great idea, but why limiting it here?

Remember simulacrum?

Just let Sirus randomly appear in town, kicking some ass, Sirus level adopted to current act ( adding new Sirus 9 and 10 ).

Also let him by 50% chance appear in the Uber lab chamber might be fun,
supporting Izaro with some sauce :)

Final cheese to Sirus fight could be accomplished by forcing your character into Uber-HC*** mode if you fail to kill him in certain time, well supporting the "phase out DPS meta" and kicking casual noobs a**.

***no persistence of your char at all after death, as hey this is endgame fight !
