3 years after launch of open beta is still not 5 years. Paying for extra stash has been in the game for lack of a better word since its inception. Their design choice to clog the loot system with useless junk has ALSO been in the game since its' inception. Saying you can trade with normal tabs the same as with premium tabs is patently untrue, and that makes them pay to win. I have no problem buying tabs or mtx to support the devs when they make something I enjoy, but saying that poe is "completely without cost" is also false and misleading advertising, as the OP stated. He doesn't deny it's f2p, he's calling them out for saying it's "completely costless" which is flat out not true.

That's not the question though. Does having the current premium tabs make trade easier than not having them? Does purchasing something in this game provide and advantage? Of course it does, and that's the standard definition of pay to win. Especially in this game of efficiency/

There's also no quibbling over whether or not this is too pay to win for this discussion because the line they say is "never pay to win". Path of Exile is 100% obviously at least a bit pay to win. So yes they are lying in that description.

If stash tabs aren't a little pay to win then selling gear would obviously not be pay to win either, since you're just saving time grinding for it right?

Yaawwwnnnn!!!!! Not this whipping a dead-horse discussion again. But what is very much false-advertising is the PoE Steam minimum hardware requirements specifications. No way in hell that you will get any playable frame rates on just the minimum computer specs listed for PoE.

Edit: And here I thought my solution to this conundrum was quite reasonable in light of the other "PoE is not free to play" way too huge thread debate. But as long as everyone in the world is different humans will forever argue over insignificant issues just because we don't want to be shouted down or told "you are wrong".

Yes of course so many people are trading with brown tabs, it's so easy. look at the streamers they all do. (Also before the trade stash api the game was as good as a niche game) Can you stop being ridicolous pls
