Severe performance dip with new Delirium update

Game runs like doodoo. If the next two leagues are more of the same I'm spending my money on other entertainment indefinitely.

Same problem for wife and I. Two computers with different setups, played together daily (non league) until Delirium drop, every time we have tried our (non league) characters since then we get the stuttering badly enough that we cannot play. Most recently tested a week or so ago.

Will try full uninstall/reinstall. Feels like an engine update or driver issue, because we have never taken part in Delirium content.

Radeon RX 5700 XT, Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 GB RAM @3200 Mhz, NVMe SSD card, Gigabit broadband internet - I can play literally any existing AAA title on highest details EXCEPT for PoE.

This is a shitfest of monumental proportions and patch after patch you break more stuff than you manage to fix. Already stopped purchasing anything and I'm glad I resisted the temptation to buy a supporter pack before I got to experience the league.

Dudes, I was never complaining about perfomance but seriously, now it is beyond any reasonable shit.
I have Ryzen 3600 / 1060 6gb / 16gb / SSD.
I've set ALL settings to LOW.
Loading ACT6 city, having 0-30 FPS.


UPDATE. Just downloaded new nvidia drivers, seems WAY faster than before, will test some more.

This game is unplayable, i don't have the best PC. But what is the point of focusing on Graphics in a Free to Play game???!! this game undoubtedly one of the best games i have played. But every time i go into a map i feel like doing something else, imagine dying to random June Intervention encounters.

Yesterday, 320fps.
Today, 50fps.

There have been NO patches or updates.
There is something very wrong in the code of this game.

Also have serious cause of lags and DC. More problamatic is lossin control over character. From time to time its stuck and do nothing especialy during delirum encounter often end with death, if this is caused by some monster skills then its SUCK couse by this freaking smog you promes make thiner its invisible and bad signalized.

Same like me fat fps drops from 60 to 2 fps on I7, 1080 TI, 64GB RAM, PCIE SSD. Its crayzy!

I did left the game one year ago after synthésis league because of eu server issue, framerate spike, dropping fps and latency. i did give it a try like one week ago because some of my friends told me than this league was very fun to play. the first week was ok not so much trouble with any eu servers and not so much fps issue, the game was playable. On Friday something change and the game was unplayable again. i got framerate spike, fps spike and latency spike (yes all of them in the same time) I do enjoy the league tho, so i tried a lot of stuff.

Uptodate my drivers. Nothing change.
Disable my 2nd screen. Nothing change.
Setup very low graphic settings. Nothing change.
Predictive mode. Nothing change.
standalone version from steam version. Nothing change.
Disable my vpn. Nothing change.
Nosound to false in production_config.ini files. Nothing change.
Tried the "-noasync --nodx9ex -gc 2" into the shortcut launcher. Nothing change.

At this point i have no idea where my problem come from, is that from path of exile eu servers, is that from the game itself (graphic part). both, i have no clue.

I play the game since the beta version and well i'm out again see you in one year or so or maybe not ):. Rip poe

This really only applies to Ryzen users but in general you want 4 things: game on SSD, a modern mid-tier CPU/GPU and 16gb of ram 3000+MHz (what ever is stable). Now I’m assuming most people here are intel users and I’m also assuming most intel users here OC their cpu for maximum performance but in a safe way. All I know for Ryzen is that you NEED to OC your RAM speed! In general (to play it safe) 1st gen CPU’s sweet spot is between 2600-3000mhz. 2nd gen 3200mhz and 3rd gen is 3600mhz due to infinity fabric. I was stuttering kinda bad with delirium and after pairing my 2700x which I’ve had for almost a year with 3200mhz ram two days ago, the game dosnt stutter one bit no matter how many league mechanics I throw at it. The ONLY issue iv came across was stacking 5 delirium orbs on one map aka 100% delirium effect on the player in which I run by a shrine. I have not gotten to Sirus due to I’m only at level 3 awakener but so far 99% of the game is lag free now. Currently running a CoC bladefall/bladeblast with cyclone with a bunch of MTX. Again, any Ryzen user here that reads this make sure your ram is speedy, intel dosnt gain much from RAM OC just like Ryzen dosnt gain much from CPU OC. If your still stuttering I’m sorry. But for DC issues and server issues well, that’s on GGGs side. Hope this helped (btw even in delirium and breach and SOMETIMES abyss I keep a steady 60+ FPS and only dip to mid 50s in rare weird instances excluding what I mentioned above)
