Severe performance dip with new Delirium update

Tried reduced graphic quality and predictive networking to get a somewhat playable experience but the game remains an unenjoyable buggy, laggy mess.

i5-6500 w/ GTX 1070

Will try again in PoE 2. Expecting slideshow performance.
Does not help anyone here, but performance seems to have magically improved in the last week or so since I've tried. Or, that was a seriously long DDoS attack that ruined the performance for us for a number of weeks after Delirium dropped.

As far as I know we did not make any changes to our PCs or graphics drivers to be able to play again, it's just not "jerking" constantly anymore.

Best of luck to all still dealing with this.
Haven't had any issues at all the entire league.
I don't think performance has ever been better in this game than what it is now. Very smooth gameplay.

Core i5-9600 3,7 ghz
Ram 16 gb
Radeon rx580 8gb
Game installed on ssd
Windows 10

Quantify smooth. Also are you doing intense end game content or just regular mapping?

I usually maintain something between 150-300 FPS in regular content, but decided to run a juiced* delirium map and tanked to 20 FPS. still playable, but it's first time i've dropped below 60.

Core i7 8700 4.4Ghz
32gig ram (i use PC for work as well)
RTX 2080
SSD

* Map was 110% quantity, Zana breaches, 4 sextants adding extra mob packs 100% delirium with beyond modifier (and betrayal cause YOLO)

I do the same. High quantity maps, 4 sextants, zana mod and often scarabs and fragments. I forgot to mention that i play in 1920x1080. It's probably a big difference what resolution you all use but no one writes this vital information. Even i forgot to.

So since 3.10.1d i have had constant unplayable freezing on any juiced maps. Resulting in many deaths lol. My solution was to turn off Dynamic resolution. For some reason it seemed to be the culprit for me. Not ideal but it made the game playable. Have run 30+ maps with it off with no issue. The second i turned it back on i froze in the first 5 seconds of a map. Turned it back off and smooth again. Dynamic resolution is broke! At least for me.

I tried turning off dynamic resolution too and it seemed to work for me as well at first. But with more time spent after the change I still got some random freezes / disconnects. That said, they did get a lot more rare. But at the same time, if a freeze occured it was significantly more severe and lasted longer (resulting in the death of every single character I played this league).
Sadly i need to count me in for those "freezes". I reduced the specs to the utmost minimum but it does make no difference. I also have drop rates from around 140 fps down to 20-30. You really have to be able to anticipate whats happening in 2-3 seconds later while having a frozen screen. :-/

Deactivating Dynamic Resoultion did not prevent me from Freezes.
Its a complete shit show.
Whenever i hit a pack the fps goes from 80(locked) to like 10 frames.
opening a timeless monolith = 3 second freeze = and im dead
same here that's my config

i7 8750h @2.20
rtx 2060 16gb
16 gb ram
ssd 256

i'm having this problem from a couple of days. zero problem with other games. it's a goddamn omen. every games should run smooth af. fps drop from 170 to 40 even with no action. i'm standing still in my h/o and dynamic resolution start triggering like hell! i was thinking that my laptop was going nuts and is not even 1 year old. it feels like there's a kind of a bottleneck. cause gpu start workin pretty crazy 98% and more usage. while cpu is under 50% with some spike to 70%. all core temps are 98° with gpu over 90°. an answer from ggg would be grateful

as an example u can see how much the fps bounce while i'm standing completely still in my h/o
