Failed Writing Received data

Same issue.

Tried running as Administrator. Nope.
Tried VPN. Nope.
Tried Restarting. Nope.

Working on a fresh install.

Location. California, U.S.

Game worked on launch but had too many disconnect issues. Took me 45 minutes to run through the longest Northern Forest of my life to get the Caverns Way Point. Disconnected, sometimes back in queue, seven times before finally making it. At 5.5 hours played time and just started Act 4 so I went to bed. Only experienced one rollback so the play time just kept piling up.

At least I never died to lag in SSFHC.

When I woke up the issue was present. Don't know what changed while I was sleeping.

An easy and free VPN (limited to 10 go data traffic per month) is "Windscribe".

Just look it up on google
=> Download and install
=> Start the application
=> Select a random country (few are available in the free version of Windscribe, I personaly took Canada but any should work)
=> Press the "On" button

The VPN is now active, and you should be able to patch your game.
When you'r done patching, just press the "Off" button.

Playing from French location and this worked fine for me, too. Thanks for the great suggestion mate!
Looks like we are good for another "great" start for new patch 3.10, just like the previous ones.

Also worked for me. Patching from France, picked Germany for VPN.

i delte my game to lounch it new,in this programm is 2gb free, but all patch is 20gb,can u tell me what i need to do ?

You could try and download the torrent, there will only be a few more GB to patch after that:

Run "client.exe" as administrator works for me. Patches downloaded and installed just fine.

But starting the game this way can only be a temporary workaround... something definitely wrong.

I am French using standalone client.

I tried the above sugestions mentionned in this thread. Also I downloaded the .exe using the URL displayed in the poe error message and left it in the poe directory, same error displayed.

Also tried the Packcheck -> All files are OK.

Only thing I did not try yet is resinstalling. Will try that if no fix is provided within the next hours.

Please devs, gimme that fix ! :)



EDIT : It worked with VPN but do not use the Chrome extension, install windscribe on your system and it will fix it. thanks !

I had the same issue (France).
Patching with a vpn (Windscribe free version - german server) worked perfectly. Now I can play as usual (with vpn deactivated).
