summoner nerf - my special build suffers the most
" Yeah I'd rather not have Diablo 3's set gears that have to add 5000% increased damage just to be noticable. As for Necromancers. Still stronger than 3.7, so are all the minions (except maybe skeleton). Any summoner build that doesnt work now is simply a bad build propped up by too many buffs. Don't worry, even with skeleton nerf they will still do 80m dps, just not 130m now.

" Yeah, but the gems are even getting adjusted too, that's not exactly easy to compensate for. I mean I never thought the playstyle was so gutted it would fall apart, but as you can see based on OP's own necro it's pretty common for players not to push the envelope in terms of performance, so any nerfs meant to reduce top end performance translate heavily for the players that are playing below optimal. Even my own necro is running 6.2k ES/CI and even at 1k str it's still quite a ways from optimal, and that's after finally 6 linking the staff and body armor. Yep, totally over league play.

In other news, golems were effective in 3.7, got buffed in 3.8 and havent been nerfed since.
They also don't need feeding frenzy. ***COUGH*GGG*HINT*HINT*** |
