Thats why I limited myself with 8 zombies and I switch out shaper's touch for a rare glove for life and res.

I use born offering instead of spirit.
I use commander of darkness instead of born barrier (10% all res buff coming btw).

It ends up with capped res, ~40% block, 6K life and 3K ES and completely potent damage.

It really ain't special that you used physical minions. Everyone and their dog played physical minions last season. The combo of Pride + Flesh & Stone + Dread Banner (Generosity) with Impale Support on Skellies was just too darn big and you aren't the only genius figuring that out.

But lo and behold, the new cluster jewels will make it possible to have 100% chance to impale on minions, which most likely will be the new chase strategy for Skellymancers.

Like Art said, that is nothing "special", its just another variant of minions doing all the work.

I ran two 5 link skeleton/zombie/spectres with a heavy focus on physical and a pride aura as a CI. Just because I went CI instead of ES/Health didn't make different. I barely had any utility skills, a travel, convocation, and the movement offering to go with my bone armor, that's it. The gameplay was still get minions relatively close and have them do all the damage.

Theres nothing special about this setup of yours first off ALL Summoners have a similar play style you run around focused on kiting and manual dodging and let the minions do all the heavy lifting for you and second off if you have concerns the nerfs are going to effect what the build does then worry no more.

You have plenty of other options still left to make your build even better than before which will almost cancel out the nerfs it received. Things like getting 100% impale for example which will be possible for your Pure Phys Minions from the looks of things now. Theres also things like using the Minion Conversion Gloves to convert your minions damage to a single element and then work in things like EE and an Elemental Curse to match your Damage type on the minions. All things that will improve your build in its current state. Theres also the fact you can get more minion damage on gear than what you have as well as way better jewels.

Adjust and Adapt. Thats the name of the game each and every league when GGG change things around and nerf things that get a little too popular. Some of us have been dealing with these kinda changes for litteraly years now every 3 months. Thats why most people complaining about nerfs are either new players or players who already hate the game so much they play Path of Forum Troll more than the actual game itself.

I never understand how you go from a build that does a couple million dps to a few million dps and call that "nerfed" or "destroyed".

fights will take 3 seconds longer, if even, given the new nodes.

Overkill remains overkill even if you take some % away from the top-ceiling.

It matters to some because now they have to react to mechanics whereas if you just wipe the screen, you're basically a run simulator occasionally stopping to pick up things.

If someone has always done meta builds, they have had little opportunity to learn the ins/outs of many of the fights. 3-4 seconds when you don't know the game is a big deal.

Most OP and most played ascendency in last two leagues.
People be like "Why GGG hates Necro, why they nerf it?!"
