If you are not using a META build, you can't play endgame AT ALL

Literally every league involves picking a build that can do the content fast on a budged and then spending currency on something more expensive. Don't act like this thing happening now is something new.

The diference was never this big. I play this game almost since the beggining and NEVER did a "meta" or whatever skill is stronger before cause although a bit harder it was always viable to use other skills and farm using them. Now we HAVE to pick a starter and this limits variety and frustrate those that dont know like new players. Infact 95% of the complains I fill here on forum are from new player perspective being some friends that I invited to play this season. Most of the glaring issues of the game can only be viewed by people not used to these issues.

Forget meta builds or any of that. Te first thing you definitely need is a considerable inveatments into many tabs and currency tabs, otherwise you will just drown, wont really be able to trade, cant store anything, spend more time loading into storage chars, rearranging your stuff.

You need to pay more money to actually do the things that make the game fun.

To me, thats not 'free to play'.

Imo they should have said 'you will have a very limited experience if you dont pay 30 - 50 €/$ just for currency tabs'. 'Oh, and if you want youre char to look just a little bit cooler youll have to pay another 20 - 40 + €/$.'

Too much pay to win/pay to enjoy.

Labeling poe free to play is a sad joke haha.

this is far from true, you need to learn the game honestly, i am not an experienced player nor hardcore nor the best, but the most common mistakes everyone makes is "i want a build that oneshot everything" then you get instashotted.

Learn to build TANKY and survival. There are so many builds, go juggernaut with a shield and a facebraker with cyclone build, go duelist with life leech, check alkaizerx profile and try what he is doing even with half the gear, his HP are usually at 7/8k.

Every build that lets you at 5hp will get oneshotted without any window to react. Get tankier. Its not that hard.

i have been able to clear whole content and kill sirus at level 8 multiple times down to a farm status now with duelists and cyclone build.
can do the same with my juggernaut.

Use your brain and stop tryin to go for the meta build when you lack the skill of dodging and understanding the stats behind it.

You can still farm lower tier maps if you want to. Nobody denies you currency, if you are dedicated you can farm your exalts and still be able to do everything in due time. The game becoming more convenient for you and whatever crappy build you run does not warrant reverting the changes and making it laughably easy again.

Hello there , i'm new to PoE started play in 3.9
So i really maybe does't know who is meta or whatever , but i play Creamation chieftain , cyclone slayer , and armagedon brand chieftain.(Builds copied from streamers or some youtube).Also all of them i play in SSF.

Some how reach end game killed sirus on level 8., yes i will struggle alot since i does't know mechanics of any boss or whatever , maybe that why a little bit i'm struggling , but now since i understand a little bit more about game , i see that u can do any skill or any build work , just some of them need much more effort than others.
Also is just my opinion , so don't get mad , Piece.

P.s also i see alot of the community trashing talking on PoE., my opinion is if the game or league is so bad , then why u play it?

I know its off topic but hell it shows how broken some aspects of the game is. Look at this screenshot and tell me if its good design. (ps we took this after collecting like half of the stuff already)

Its not I suspect its in the fix list for PoE 2 where they can do some fairly sweeping changes at the same time. How sweeping? Sadly we'll have to wait and see lol

yeah true I hope they fix it on 2.0. I think they mentioned something about it on exilecon not sure thought. About too much useless loot or "loot explosions" being an issue.
