The Moral Dilemma: Key Cloning and Multiboxing.
"Item drops from monsters are now calculated based on the number of players nearby (13 metres - around six tiles, which is approximately a screen) rather than the number in the instance. The quantity of drops is based on the minimum of the number of players who were around at the start and end of the fight. This means that if you spawn a boss alone before bringing in friends to help (or if the friends leave during the fight) then it will only drop enough items for one person." - Patch Notes
Yeah... if it weren't morally reprehensible, the devs wouldn't be implementing features designed to make it hard for you to multibox. Regarding the term "multibox." I never played WoW... multi=more than 1, box=computer.. The term simply means multiple clients running on one box. rotan, if you can still farm with 6 clients WITHOUT using keyclone to keep them all within 13 metres, then I guess, have fun with that... meanwhile, you're still scum. Tllyx, I'll never get anywhere with this if I DON'T insult people. The point is that this is a shameful act that ought to be ridiculed. Drive the multiboxers into the shadows, if we can't destroy them outright. My words are poetry and thus not subject to spellcheck or the laws of grammar.

I am 100% against botting and unfair play, but I see no reason whatsoever why someone who has invested time and effort into genuinely leveling and getting multiple characters to the point they can multi-box for their own benefit should be denied that right... I do NOT personally do it even though my computer could more than handle it. This is simply because I am too lazy and have a core group of people I always run with.
There is no reason why hardworking and respectable players (especially those like Rotan who have been around and contributing since closed beta) should be demonized and "shunned" for this completely legitimate and hack/exploit free method of playing. I think the community of multi-boxers are simply intelligent people who invested their efforts into working a system that the developers themselves coded into this game and have yet to say they are against it... Bravo to them. IGN : TheRealGunz

" Obviously the devs disagree as they've included safety measures in an attempt to prevent people from running multiple accounts. Multiboxing to gain more experience or loot is far from legitimate. Just because something is technically possible within a coded environment doesn't mean that the environment was coded to allow for it. It's plain to see that the game is intended to be played with the one player=one character convention. My words are poetry and thus not subject to spellcheck or the laws of grammar.

" They have been slowly working towards making it harder and harder to successfully multibox. This is beta, and the devs did the smart thing and took the stance that whatever was being done without automation was free game. This allowed people to go out and find ways to game the system without worry of being banned. So to the people who took advantage of this, GOOD FOR THEM. They found a legitimate way to play the game and get the most out of it without breaking ToS. No need to throw a shitfit because they were more productive than you were. On top of that, good on the developers for putting systems in place to keep multiboxing in check. This why we have beta. IGN: SpiritualMachine
