The hype train becomes Titanic, 3.9 is a huge failure.

The update and atlas are both great changes, and vast improvements for what they do. Seriously, having fun, even dangerous map bosses are great.

Most of the crying about Atlas changes boil down to people simply not understanding how to actually use it properly/effectively.

It took only 2 evenings to go from 4-20 watch stones, whilst also doing all the usual side-stuff.

The league mechanic is OK, for HC it sucks, but since swapping to SC its tolerable. Only died I think once to a meta since then, and that was (T16?) Tower boss with double damage mods and attack speed on top of whatever the actual organs added, making his slam an instant 1 shot.

What they did fail on is the Sirus fight. Making any sense of progression and all the good the update brought completely worthless.

When your players invest dozens of hours to reach a boss fight, only to die once and walk away feeling like they both learned nothing, and had no fun in doing so, because of untested, terrible/buggy design. You failed. And that reflects on the whole event.

Why do I need an argument? You seem to be the one getting angry at others' opinions. Your view seems to be that the new system is 'boring' because you can't run the same, single map 5000 times...

I can run ANY map I like at T14+... No longer finding 10 tiers of maps that I will never run.

I would also point out, your contribution here was nothing more than an 'I have no idea what I'm doing, so it's bad' whine, and far from constructive.

The atlas mecanics are fun, and for late are really cool, but the fight against sirus... my god, holy shit.

I've come to this conclusion too, fuck it. This league is absolute shit.

The lack of target farming maps is fucking horrible aand apparently this is what GGG wants. Fuck that, I won't be playing this game next league or maybe even until PoE 2 if this doesn't change. At this point people are literally forced to make a new account to get the atlas they want so they can sustain a map. GGG are clearly wrong here and need to fix it soon because this is a disaster.
