But you can punt people in gimp suits off screen there. I'm not entirely sure that this is too educational.
Though, maybe, for some people, pimpslapping gimps is what it's all about.
12/12/12 - the day Germany decided boys are not quite human.

You must have been thinking of GTA3. Who else was thinking about GTA3 when you read this? (It really happens)

No Dead Babies options eh.... thats a first...
Gore is perfect for the atmosphere. Don't restrain youself at GGG for doing more sick and grim things.
Mabye it would be even better advertisement to advertise "Dead Baby Optional" but not make it optional. That would get on the news big time.

Get Casey Anthony to endorse. Guaranteed 1,000,000 copies sold.

My wife and I had our first baby six months ago. As a new father, maybe my input will hold a bit of weight. For the people who are offended by the dead baby/doll: man up.

It's already been pointed out how hypocritical it is to murder literally every living creature in Wraeclast, human and monster alike, but to get offended by one dead baby (it looks like a doll to me) is puzzling. Did the OP explain to his son that it's ok to murder a person when they're over the age of 18, but below that age it's an offensive idea?

As an "option" I have no real argument against turning off the dead babies. Although, I do hope someday, some developer will just say "If you don't like it, don't play it." Rather than feed into the culture of "I find this offensive. Change it, even if others like it."

Yes, another one of those "Blood & Gore" topics.

I, too, have had a kid -- in my case a 9 year-old boy -- tell me that the blood & gore was just gross. He also asked why anyone would want that in a game?

I couldn't tell him why because I have absolutely no idea, personally. But I don't get the appeal of slasher horror movies, either, so go figure.

OK, so, we can argue about whether including a blood & gore pref level is worth the time.

But the gratuitous dead baby on the starter beach? Seriously?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us parents the option of not seeing what is the single most upsetting image we can possibly see.

Dead babies == not fun.

Thanks.

As a parent myself, all I can say is that you're a bleeding-heart moron. Tell that boy to toughen the hell up like a real man and go outside and play soldiers. Do real boy stuff. Quit whining about how the blood and guts are ruining his bastardized childhood of My Little Pony.

As for you, pull that head out of your ass and realize that 1) It's not a real baby, it's a video game, and 2) far worse than that has happened. I'm getting sick of this womanized and efeminate society coddling the crap out of our kids and putting bandaids the size Manhatten on all of their owies. You're probably the same kind of parent that thinks spanking or whooping your kid's ass is morally wrong when they do something stupid.

I applaud GGG for having the balls to say "screw that, we have dead kids". Our culture is the only one where it's 100% taboo and wrong to depict child abuse or death in our entertainment mediums. For example, I wanted to kill every child I saw in Fable 2 for being obnoxious little twats. Why do you think I killed all the adults?
