Some bosses overtuned.

Some of the Metamorphs are much tougher than all the act bosses. Combined. Get it? No? OK. But they are. They are crazy.

I agree, I didn't notice any difference with him except his minions took longer. He himself was the same, but he also took longer. Everybody just takes longer. If anything I'm maxing out my resists earlier, but I made it through act 6 with 1.2k health before something 1 shot me (to believe I actually died to brine king)
Yeah, I didn't find Dominus himself all that different, but his minions are way nastier than before. Some of the Metamorphs are ridiculous too. I don't know if it was the nerfs to zombies or the buffs to the bosses, but I've been playing summoner builds every league since beta and I've never seen them get shredded this easy until late yellow or early red tier maps. I'm CONSTANTLY having to resummon them even with regen and Consecrated Ground under them.

The Piety before Malachai is freaking nasty now!
None of the bosses are overtuned. In fact, some could be buffed more.

Izaro feels like a weak sh*t.
Same with both Kitava fights.

Can confirm that part, some combinations are really hard, but worth the effort at all :)

For the core game without accounting for league mechanics, I think making the act content is the right way to go to properly make the game harder. It seems like the past several league mechanics relied on using map mods to carry the weight of the difficulty instead of just being reasonably challenging without them and letting the mods be optional ways to add more difficulty for reward.
I love the new bosses.
I also started out with a Scion, and my SSF luck was crappy, so I struggled a bit the first 2 acts. Merveil was a pain in the ass.

But what I really like about this "bossing league" is the Metamorphs. I've made some crazy fuckers in act two that were stronger than map bosses were before this league.

Some of the bosses I don't think were adjusted.

First Kitava fight felt the exact same.
First stage Innocence was improved (slightly harder)
Second stage Innocence felt slightly nudged

Vaal Oversoul still crazy even after server side patch
The Weaver (act 2) can be crazy if you have no sustain, pierce or high AoE


I think some are either bugged or are overtuned. Most are just extra spongy.

I wonder if there is possibly a conflict between abilities they give metamorph creatures with their drops and their own personal ones. GIantMidget83 early mentioned the Piety Beam, I had the exact same occurrence. I killed her and used her drop to make a metamorph in the chamber. This metamorph had Uber Piety Beam (I splatted hard) BUT going back to Piety it seemed she used the metamorph's version of her power.

If this is the case there could be other bosses getting their metamorph's versions temporarily.

I feel like piety in act 4 is bugged also. She suddenly got super fast to where it was impossible to avoid her beam and it one shot me the second it touched me. Went back and she was at normal speed again(had 2k hp and steelskin up).
It’s a bit frustrating with Act bosses getting tuned up, but nothing so far has seemed undoable. It does make me want the gem system 4.0 will bring, I’d love to be able to focus on the stats on gear rather than give 90% my consideration to the sockets.
So far I'm not sure what's overtuned but I know it's possible to make metamorphs with insane elemental resists. I fought some in white maps that had 40 times more EHP than the map boss at least.
