Awakened suport gems are a failure

There are items that are meant to be farmed by everyone, and there are items that are meant to be farmed by Ziz, Mthil, and the crew. I mean, we don't want the whales to stop playing, do we?

If you're not part of the "crew" just ignore them.
"Powercreep is a failutre"

Yep, it is. If you are to poor to be aprt of it.
I don't think they should've released any of the "pure damage" ones. If they don't come with added utility it's just a Diablo 3 Ancient Item designed to keep people on the hamster wheel longer. Boring.
Remember when dealing millions of dmg in D3 is actually a thing?
Now they are doing trillion of dmg and only limited by the max range of today machine/coding. This is pure BS.

Powercreep will slowly turn any game into that BS if you aren't careful enough, which GGG ain't aware of yet.

Woke! And "support" gems should be called "Stans" instead.
All the support gems should have just rolled over into them when you hit level 20 so basically it would have went from normal lvl 19 to a awakened lvl 1

This may be better or worse for some but if you cant buy said gem or boss said boss how else would you get them? :P
If the progression curve of them is similar to empower/enlighten and enhance then its still going to be a massive hassle for people to grind them out and most likely irrelevant to the actual end-game content.

More like a fluff "look at my bently" flex type of thing.

The designs seem pretty bland, but i guess thats a restriction of the gem system as a whole having so many options already that it would be odd if they still managed to push out whole new sets of them at this point.

They bassicaly did all the logical formation/spreads and geometric shapes at this point.

A failure? That's a bit harsh, I think. Unnecessary? Yes. Uninteresting? Sure. Boring? Maybe.

Well in fairness I'm not sure anything described as unnecessary, uninteresting, and boring could be considered successful.
