Biggest LIE in PoE HisStory
" Uhm... according to Chris... you're not *supposed* to ever, EVER reach lvl 100. He's been working hard to prevent that for years. But, since people can actually reach something, they will - no matter how much pain, or RMT, is involved. Patch Notes 3.15:
Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive. Patch Notes 3.19: Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment. |

according to 10ex.... u buy 3 pure chayulas - u host them - u kill boss - u get fee, u sell blessing(+maps/optional) and buy another 3 and keep on doing until u get 100....why shouldn't u get ? the only pain is on death overall - rest is just boring farming.
Or maybe 8-9ex to be more exact... 🎥 Twitch - https://www.twitch.tv/thebunga_

I don't mind the penalty too much, but I also wouldn't mind if they've taken a look at it. As is it kinda discourages doing any real hard content whenever you're close to leveling up and it's a bit annoying.
I'd definitely be nice to have some solid stats on this. Poll on the forums would be great, but many games also poll players in-game at the same time. You could poll community over the course of couple days/weeks and make decisions based on those, rather than vocal minorities based feedback. Last edited by Lirhtim#5448 on Nov 17, 2019, 4:21:36 PM

In order to level up after lvl 94, you have to literally stop dying. Let's say you die once every 50 maps, but you need to run 500 maps to go from 96 to 97. In that case you wouldn't even gain experience in the long run.
So, that's the current problem of the game. You need to mindlessly grind for xp and currency, for hundreds of maps, with no other objective. I would say, make the level cap achievable for everyone and find another endgame, grinding currency until you get bored and start hating the league or the game itself doesn't sound really healthy. You can add crazy uber missions that not everybody is supposed to beat. Or difficulty scaling content like delve, but less monotonous. |

" If you are not willing to put in work to hit level 100, you just don't get to hit level 100. It's rather quite simple. Whine more, please. |

Don't know about everyone but I like it. Forces tough choices and use my head and make gearing and tree compromises. I wouldnt even take a life node w/o penalty. What for?
Anyway usually I play SC because HC penalty is a little harsh but it's a degree of harshness. Not that none exists which would really suck. Biggest lie in PoE is "ethical microtransactions" there arnt any. Costumes rely on peer pressure (which is why you launch in town, trade in person, and always online in bascially a single player game). Stash tabs rely on forced scarcity. Gambling boxes rely on addictive personalities. All scammy. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on Nov 17, 2019, 6:03:14 PM
