Well I'm not complaining :D I don't care about free MTX. Watched whole stream and enjoyed. This guy i quoted thinks that GGG was giving away total 18 micro and 2 bundle = only 20 ppl can get something lol

Simple. GGG will take any opportunity to propagate their gambling-addiction agenda.

This is no different from anything else in the game. The average player has spent several hundreds of fusings only to fail at getting a 6-link. You get upset, take a break, or maybe map for a while to cope.. but in the end, you always come back.

No matter the backlash, their item "giveaway" on stream follows the same fundamental concept of gambling in-game. If you've lost faith in the stream, that's fine; someone else will replace that spot and get hooked.

Others will be awestruck by the luck and success of others such as the dude who just posted above me.

oh for sure, they want new blood from twitch but they dont really understand twitch audience anyway.. most of the new people trying out the next league will totally quit the second day when they encounter server issues or bugs they don't know what they are getting into.

like I said before this will hurt them in the long way, whenever they open drops people should remember how much of a bait this was just to grow their bank account than anything else, they have the tools to make this by themselves they decided to think with their pockets..

from me they are not getting any more second to watch, I'm not watching jack shit today neither their next big event like this since I don't give 2 rats ass about poe e-sports.

I actually think they underestimate their community a lot. Many of us made their first ever Twitch account, we are adults and not teenagers anymore.

Kripp attracts young kids, that´s why he was invited as a hearthstone and Diablo player, I guess? Those kids hang out in streams all day, they don´t care about the lost time there.

But for us, it was a big thing to be told we get something and then nothing happens. It was after midnight here, I for sure won´t do this a second time.

GGG is not understanding that they lose us older people by not fixing the game, by telling us lies about twitch drops and so on. We bring the money, we pay for tabs, that´s quite silly to miss as a big company. Once Kripp moves to D4, the kids will follow.

GGG did not even give something as anniversary present, which was quite a stunt to bring if I may say so. Blizz does so much wrong, but they at least always give you something if you are loyal.

After following the steps and linking my account it only states: Your account is eligible for twitch prime drops. (you can check here https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/twitch). The news said it should be you are eligible for Twitch drops!.. no prime.
I followed the steps, linked my account.. and it seems I didn't get to the state I should have. Anyone else who didn't won anything also has only Twitch prime drops eligible?

Yeah, you dont need prime, but that does not mean being eligible for twitch prime drops and for twitch drops is the same thing. Some people posted screenshots where it sayed eligible for twitch drops. Since you have won something, assuming you dont have twitch prime... Does it says on your account that you are eligible for twitch drops.. or twitch prime drops?

watched for 6 hours and got nothing. needles to say i wont be watching it again today
