Twitch Drops

Many other promo events give away free shit on a first come, first serve basis for TANGIBLE items. Why couldn't GGG just offer a handout for everyone who joined?

Simple. GGG will take any opportunity to propagate their gambling-addiction agenda.

This is no different from anything else in the game. The average player has spent several hundreds of fusings only to fail at getting a 6-link. You get upset, take a break, or maybe map for a while to cope.. but in the end, you always come back.

No matter the backlash, their item "giveaway" on stream follows the same fundamental concept of gambling in-game. If you've lost faith in the stream, that's fine; someone else will replace that spot and get hooked.

Others will be awestruck by the luck and success of others such as the dude who just posted above me.

Anyway, I'm glad I didn't spend time on that stream. I'm cool.

This makes sense, thanks for posting it. It was off hours for me and I still watched it, guess not gonna bother tomorrow.
Watched whole stream, it was really good! But yeah also 0 drops.
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today!
Welp looks like there were two options to link the account

Seems like if you have the "twitch prime drops", you are not eligible. Would explain only 12 000 signing.

Top right corner, there is a dot that should be green.

In the profile picture? Mine was yellow since the event started and now it's green, what do you mean?

Spoiler
People are just speculating why they aren't getting drops with no evidence. They're just making things up.

So far they've said:

You can't watch multiple streams. There are many results on google of people "afking" in multiple streams for drops in other games/events with no problems.

You can't mute your speakers. Twitch has no clue whether your volume control is muted in Windows. It might know if you pressed the mute button on the stream itself but highly unlikely it has any effect on drops.

You have to be "green" and not away/invisible. Again many searches on google show people "farm" items in multiple games by just afking in streams with their status yellow.

You have to type !drops or something else dumb in twitch chat. Please don't let the idiots troll you this is just plain dumb.

All these people care about are total views because it drives their stream to the top of the popular/trending sections. Random is random is random. Trying to make sense of any of it is silly. As long as it says you're eligible for drops then you're eligible.

Indeed all what you listed is fear mongering cause drop changes are low and people search for reasons why they are unlucky.

Just open stream and forget about it. You dont even need to watch actively like in my case.

Last Twitch Drop event that i participated in november 2017 i passively watched multiple streams at the same time meaning:

* Mute browser tab (not direct stream mute)
* Lowest resolution
* Afk status
* again, multiple streams (not relevant in 2019 exilecon)
* Played POE while streams where passively open

POE Twitch drops from 2017:

Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

As I racall correctly, the last time they did a Twitch-Dropps-Thing, it took several hours (like ~24 ish) before the first dropps actually showed up in your account.

Just give it some time and stop yelling like spoiled kids. Humans these days...wow....

Where can I set this to "Twitch Drops" instead of "Twitch Prime Drops"?

Like this:

Edit: I don't have twitch prime
