How many drugs did it take to create this thread?

What? You jelly?

Though I don't think a person should judge a topic being on drugs when he's been writing following text on the forum "IVE SAID IT BEFORE AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN SLAVE GIRLS NEED TO BE BLUE WITH LARGE MECHANICAL DILDOS."

Just saying =D

Computer specs are generally a good topic and an existing one on pretty much each game forum. Of all the garbage people posting I don't see this as the ultimate cannabis trip.

I was actually not saying the thread was bad, good content here. Was just referring to the OP post.

iv got a daily laptop and i wonder if my computer can handle this game

No a "daily laptop" wont run this game.

I got a 12yr old laptop that runs it perfectly on mid settings (aside from the laptop getting hot enough to cook with, but it's been like that on everything for the last few years)

AMD 3.06ghz single core
4gig ram
some radeon 4000 series

Clearly you are not familiar with the graphic cards seeing as you compare a 4650 with a 4870.

The 4650 is an extremely weak card, don't let the 4xxx generation fool you, any AMD card below 57xx or 67xx is a weak card. In fact the 4650 is quite similar to the outdated X1950.

I would recommend you trading to your initial 7750 or any similar card around that price tag (6850, 6770, GTX 550 Ti)

Also you mention your power supply? How much do you currently have? a 600 - 650w Power supply can easily handle a GTX 580 unless you have something unorthodox or running Sli (or Crossfire with Amd of course)

As for processors pretty much any AMD 3800 dual core or similar can run the game on minimum settings (with some latency issues). A quad core can without anything else hindering it preform this game on max settings. The preformance are more likely to drop with server issues and sometime just lowering the resolution tends to fix alot of latency issues.

Yeah the 4650 is almost an entry level card. The 4870 is almost a classic, a very widely owned card that did a great job during its long lifetime.

My system (with 4650, on 1680x1050) runs Titan Quest mostly ok. There is some bad slowdown in the smoky areas. Probably this means that some areas of PoE will suffer also.

My power supply is just stock, probably 300W. That is one reason I am leaning toward the 7750, which has the same TDP (55W) as my existing 4650. Thus it will not require a power supply upgrade. It doesn't even need a cable, just runs off the PCIe slot, same as the 4650.

The tricky part is the money. Not so much getting it, but agreeing to it. I am already having a hard time explaining to my wife why I want to spend $10 to play a "free" game. It would be very bad mojo to follow that up with a negotiation for a $110 video card! So a card upgrade is unlikely under the status quo. My hope is that she gets D3 for herself (she was a fan of D1 and D2) and then finds that she needs the new card ;)
not enough time for gaming!
i5-2500k
2 5870s in CF
16GB ddr3 16000

all on a MSI P67A-GD53 mobo and in a HAF 922 case with an added 200mm fan for 3x200mm 1x150mm.

All running stock clock speeds as the game is not demanding.

Yes if your system is laggy I think it runs smoother in full screen right?

I was expecting this, but fullscreen gives me 15-30 fps while in maximized window mode I get 50-60...
2600k i7
12g ripsaw ddr3
6870x6850

In case anyone was wondering, it runs fine on obnoxiously overpowered crap. Glad my e-peen could help out here.
