What on Earth is it with the amount of scams this league

No names allowed but be careful with the 2.8-3ex 6L Carcass Jacks. I've come across 3 attempted scams so far.
Making the links pulse with some form of background light color would help a lot. Or perhaps some bold letters on the side or bottom that states how many links there are. Either way, there should be some distinction for items that present visual difficulties. It's a pretty simple implementation. |

Things like Carcass Jack and Windripper are likely easy for the general player to overlook. And prophecies.

I personally think the number of scams is more lower this league, since everyone is poor as hell and the drop has been rather awful, therefore there is not much you scam from people, so the joke is on the scammers.

" I can attest to that. Tried buying a couple, but every supposedly 6 link Carcass Jack in my trade window was a 4 and 2 link. It takes 2 seconds of thorough looking to see through this, but some 6 link flourish and/or sparkles would be a nice addition. |

Seriously though, this is one of the biggest reasons I do not trade in any video-game. I deal with enough assholes in real life, least I can do is avoid them online. |

Had a player last night try to scam me on a mirror of kalandra I was selling. Was asking 90ex for it, they came to my hideout put 1 ex, 1 ancient orb, 4 stacks of 1 chaos and 3 engi orbs in the window. Just typed "lol" and left group. After they left I asked them if that ever works, they replied with "You wouldn't believe how many exalts and other items I have bought doing this" No idea how people fall for this.

When there is zero punishment or recourse for scamming, more and more people are going to do it.
This game is a scammer/PoS paradise. From Price Fixing, to scamming, to F2p Botting, I mean if you have no moral qualms the sky is the limit in PoE. |
