General Discussion - What on Earth is it with the amount of scams this league - Forum

It seems like every league more people try to scam. Especially when buying certain similar looking or sounding items, and especially when a lot of currency is involved, the scam rate goes up so much. When I was selling Fated Connections on saturday, 6(!) scammers in a row tried to one over me with the good ol' swap 5ex70c for 1ex7c trick, before someone bought it for real. That guy went on to tell me how tired he was of people trying to put jewellers touch. I heard of and even been the attempted target of scams before, but none as much as this league. It honestly seems like ever more people are doing it. I've had people try to scam me with the 10->1 stack trick on 20c purchases, one week into the league. What the hell? Every league there is a thread like this from somebody. I don't think the number of scammers has gone up, the OP has just had some bad luck.
