Your concern is understandable; I would propose as an alternative a UI toggle option which, when active, suppresses display of all other players' MTX on your screen.

As for the MTX themselves... the Harlequin portal is, indeed, kind of interesting. More generally, though, I find myself pointing to GGG's mystery boxes as one of the more principled implementations of the things; makes you wonder why certain other people aren't taking notes therefrom...

If anyone ever tells me GGG cares about immersion, I'll link them to this page.

I bet if this box was released in Halloween it MAY have had a far more positive feedback but as it stands, it looks like a remake from the last box.
