Vis Mortis Nerf - Hurts casuals and feeds pay to win
Just got done looking through the patch notes and noticed the necro changes.
No more extra specs off boots. No extra spec off vis mortis. No mention of any changes to delve +1 spec chest. This change will really hurt casuals and it FEEDS the whole pay to win thing this game has a big problem with as it is. Prices will get jacked up. Alot of us casual players used the vis mortis league after league for reasonably priced alternative to expensive delve gear. This just killed my desire to play in this league. They did add extra spectres to the gem it self as it levels up, dont get so mad when they try to give you power without having to eguip every single unique item with extra minions

read the patch notes... Your losing the spec off the boots. That negates the added off jewel. That leaves the delve as the only source for a chest spec.
If you think prices were high on a decent delve spec chest in 3.7 wait and see what happens this league. The days of a 5-6ex 6l spec chest are over... NS " Last edited by Nightstone13#5744 on Sep 4, 2019, 1:00:26 AM

" Maybe you first learn the basics, like: What is the difference of a gem and a jewel? |

The old system pretty much any player had easy access to 4 specs.
Now GGG has implemented a spec summoner wealth check. If your rolling in ex you should have easy access to 4-5 specs. 1 from the tree. 2-3 from the gem. 1 from the delve chest. For casual players who don't get visits from Santa clause every league and are not rolling in ex are going to see a significant DPS drop. BTW... you know exactly what " Pay to win is " and GGG has a strict policy of not mentioning real world currency. *** no mention of real world currency is implied or mentioned in this post. NS " |

Mentioning RMT is against GGG rules... FYI.
Pay to win refers to paying for for the items you need to easily win. Where that in game currency comes from is anyone's guess. I always thought it was the poe version of santa that just repeatedly gifts certain players every league... For the casual players this is a huge kick in the nuts... There are countless number of builds and you want to quit the game because one item was nerfed. Thats just sad.

Im disabled... And no there are not a huge amount of builds I can play. I'm limited to playing one handed ( Even thats hard here lately ). Just had another surgery to boot a month ago. VA added 3 shiny new plates to my neck.
Whats sad is when folks assume everyone is the same... But hey... Im fine with it. NS " Last edited by Nightstone13#5744 on Sep 4, 2019, 2:21:46 AM

" Im sorry to hear that. I will probably skip the league because I've recently many technical issues playing POE but If I will decide to play then I'll give you currency to buy you a replacement of Vis Mortis. Maybe someone else can help in that case too. |

" max spectre increases after gem level 20. but how many per level after 20 we dont know yet. probably per 3 or 4 level. so you get +1 spectre at 23 or 24 which is not hard. at the start of the leauge: level your spectre gem to 20. +1 level from weapon (gloval +1 wands) or +2 with dual wield when your game is still 19. +1 level from boots(bones of ullr or bound crafted boots) +2 from ascendancy your spectre level will we 24 without no investment and probably get another +1 max spectre. So 2(from level 20) + 1(skill tree) + 1(from 23/24gem) and 4 (level 84) spectres without no investment. I think it's fair. Last edited by pphnx#3691 on Sep 4, 2019, 6:39:26 AM
