" I want you to seriously look at the common feature of each of the items you listed: They can only be used by certain builds. Not every character can slap on Mjolnir. Most can't even equip Kaoms. HH can be used by anyone. Everyone. Doesn't have any class that it favors. |

" It really is hard, not in terms of challenge but nothing in PoE is but in terms of endurance. Farming a HH manually requires more playtime than most people will spend in an entire league including challenges. The people who get them day 3 just trade/flip/bot/rmt to get theirs they don't get them the hard way. The best idea is to just not GAF why would you need a HH? WOW LOOK HOW OP I AM I BROSTORM THROUGH MAP CHOPCHOPCHOPCHOPCHOP... Wait i've not even put it on (sorry this isn't aimed at you just pointing out that an extreme power spike in a game where you really don't need it isn't worth much) |

Most of those examples actually got what they deserved imo but still perfectly fine, with the exception of Reach, Voltaxic and Poet's.

Reach needed it, at least the first one it depends which nerf your talking about, Voltaxic needed it until about 2 patches later when they removed double dipping and reflect at which point it could and should have been fully reverted.

GGG just needs to go back to their design philosophy of uniques offering a powerful bonus in exchange for a downside. Simply put "5% more damage taken per stolen buff" on the HH.

I'm going to assume the reasoning behind the "buff" is that they wanted things like maintaining Frenzy charges, Rampage, Bleed Explosions, and other things that work on kill but are also very build defining to function. I doubt it was just an "lol let's buff HH lmao" decision.
Everything surrounding HH this league seems like an accidental side effect of Legion's design. HH has always been powerful but this might be the first case of it causing problems with how content is designed. It would not surprise me that this ends up being a breaking point where HH gets nerfed because now GGG has reached a point where they have to consider what HH can do when designing league mechanics. |
