Thanks God i skipped this league. Another one with 1% of meta nolifers farming 99% of all valualbe items in game. Now them emblem fights... lol . Fuck it

" Best description of HH I have ever seen. I can only justify HH in deep delves or MF clan farming projects. Otherwise it's completely irrelevant. It does influence the market though as some people make the currency that thousands other players combined can't make for 1 league time. |

" There is a very long and detailed response to this somewhere in my mind, but as of right now, this will have to do; No. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more. 'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league. Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave. |

Headhunters downside has always been endgame bossing/encounters. A good rare belt is better, which has somewhat counteracted the super op'ness that Headhunter is in rest of the game.
But now with the Emblem fight, this has gone out the door. Which makes it the single most stupidly overpowered thing in the game to the point that it ruins it. Why dont we send in a stream rare mobs during uber elder, shaper, uber atziri, delve bosses while were at it. Theese so called endgame bosses are nowhere NEAR as lucrative as a 5 way emblem fight is for a HH build, which makes them irrelevant for currency. Breachstones handled this so much better. |

dunno why anyone cares about headhunter tbh. If ur a league player then itll either stay the same or get nerfed after this league and then next league u either still want one or you dont, who really gives a crap? thats why u play leagues right? its a fresh start in a slightly different game.
if ur in standard or u care about standard then u should have had enough money to buy multiple headhunters years ago if u really wanted one. If you like the item uve owned it for ages and had fun with it, u dont care if the new versions are a bit shit. i really dont get what all the fuss is about, chris clearly said on many occasions they will do anything they can not to make a nerf mid season. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" Rofl they care cuz they can't make that amount of money without an HH that's basically it and go IT MUST BE NERFED when it's been in the fucking game for 12+ leagues and literally have never ever touched it other than make it rarer so it's like they and try to whine about it when it's not going to do anything. Shit I'll go elitist form right here. J E A L O S Y IT'S IMMORAL!!! UNHEALTHY FOR THE GAME and I'm just sitting their laughing it's glorious. Dys an sohm

" Exactly. I think they should have put the bosses in separate zones, so that rare buffs from HH don't completely trivialise them. As you said, HH has always have the drawback that it is outshined by a rare belt during boss battles. Yet they made legion bosses spawn in room filled with rare mobs. That's such a massive oversight. |

" I disagree. Main point of that quote was arguing against the balancing of content on the top players in any other factor than mechanical difficulty in accomplishing that feat is a bad decision. The complete truth here is that no matter what barriers short of flat our removing it from the game, or burn out on their part, players like I_NO are going to get it. There's no stopping it. The other simple part of this truth is if players like I_NO wanted to feel accomplishment of wresting these feats from the developer's hands, then they wouldn't be trading for it, and they wouldn't be using "meta clear speed builds" for it either. It is in this way that balancing around them is completely pointless because in the end the only people who deal with the brunt of the changes are the average players. And, it is in this sense that Chris Wilson needs to temper expectations. Last edited by Tsokushin#2435 on Jun 24, 2019, 7:13:38 AM

" A fair point. Ultimately though, the developers are holding the strings to pull, not us. It needs to be that way for the sake of the game, too. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.
