Why does the SA DPS go up, if there is less stages in pob? Are you supposed to channel to 5 stages?

because normally pob is showing DPS per 1 pod what obviously goes up but it do not understands that you get extra pods at more stages

Is there any reason why in the latest POB full dps multiplier is set to 10 for self cast skill and 32 for totems ? I think correct multiplier should be 6 for self cast and 18 for ballistas.

Second question is about withering touch - SA is slow skill so is this realistic to calculate damage with 15 wither stacks ? My fast math: 30% chance x 6 pods = 2 stacks per ballista per shot, so 6 stacks per 3 ballistas, they shot evey 1.5 sec ? - so that's like 18 stacks per 4.5 sec - seems long time, stacks might expire before restacking ?

I'm very skeptical about spell suppression. It just looks shady and expensive.

If you remove all suppression nodes and add Divine flash it gives us 175k ehp vs 75k from the example tree. So we should be able to handle x2.3 as big hits as with suppression and 5 points to spend.

Unless I missed something.


PS. also worth exploring Lioneye's Fall in a socket above Blood Drinker. We can take dagger and claw nodes with interesting masteries.

Hmm you are right I think, I completely missed the new amazing position for glorious vanity, EE. That is actually pretty nice. And with this we also have some spare points for claw mastery for crits.

Sweet.

Here is my idea:
- Swapped that claw cluster with Dire Torments and DOT mastery for Duration
- Swapped Far Sight bow cluster with Wasting.
- Switched one of the regular jewels with abyss one with flat life and accuracy
- Swapped the bottom HP cluster with the line on the top plus 5% HP near start.

Not so sure about the last two changes.
it gives 2.182 mil dps, and slightly more HP (a bit lower EHP tho) And 20 int on top, since that is always an issue.

Well the claw cluster was for the no crit part, I dont think dire torments is ever worth it as well, as its crit cluster so the value per point is very low. I think as far as damage goes the tree is aready fine waht it needs is defenses that is why the crit cluster, to just not die randomly to especially phys crits in maps. If I was dropping the claw cluster for anything it would be for more life as well

How do you get full benefit from the leech clusters? I understand that Petrified Blood will count you as leeching as long as you have more than 50% of your life unreserved but doesn't your life flask constantly top your life and therefore stop your leeching?
