[3.8] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, easy and fun to play, beginner friendly

So I got this bow, it however says that my dps is 50% less.
1MM with Lioneye's and 500K with this bow, is Lioneye's so much better?

And does the 60% chance to deal 100% more poison damage only work if I have the skills in the bow, e.g, 6 sockets needed?

Well you probably need to craft some phys on it. Also, you need to manually change that 60% chance to "60% more damage with Poison" in order for it to work in PoB (anything red in PoB means its not working).
My builds:
[3.7] Caustic Arrow CI Trickster - Very tanky, awesome clear, respectable single target
[3.7] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, easy and fun to play, beginner friendly
[3.7] Rampage Spiders - Rampage Raise Spiders Necromancer - Very tanky with awesome DPS and clear
Thank you for the fast answer, I see that your build is more different to mine than I thought (it uses Point Blank for example). I will check on your build a bit more and see if I want to move on it if it's not too expensive, I already have nice starting gear.

By the way, that's the guide I mainly followed https://www.poe-vault.com/guides/scourge-arrow-herald-of-agony-pathfinder-build-guide-blight-38
Thanks again for the infos and this nice guide!
So i've updated my defensive gears for start mapping. I know that u've said to start with my bow. But since the league is kinda new, there's not so many good bows to start with. So i'll just wait a little bit more.

I've almost capped every single resist exepct for Chaos, which i can cap by using any Amethist Flask.

I think that i'll just keep farming currencies with that gear until i can afford a Darkscorn. But now i have two more questions:

The Gods of RNG allowed me to drop one Witchfire Brew. Which is being an awesome addition to the build till now. So how should i set my Flask Setup? Should i keep Whichfire and also add the Coralito's + Amethist? Should i remove Whichfire to add something else? Or i should only run Coralito's if i max Chaos Resist without the Amethist Flask?

About Embalmer, the Wither setup really need to be there? 'Cause i've wasted tons (over 300) of chromatics there and didn't got the 2R2B

Here's my character again

Oh yeah, by bow upgrade i mostly meant self crafting it :d Ik that there is not much on the market atm.

You honestly dont need to bother with chaos resistance atm if you dont have Darkscorn or Divine Flesh.

If you want to use Witchfire, you can replace Atziri Promise with it, it should still be solid setup (as long as you dont mind losing some chaos res and a bit of leech).

Nope, Wither do not needs to be in gloves, but at least in gear in that pob, it was the easiest piece to off color (as embalmer is str/int base, so only 2 off-colors were required, where all other bases are dex, so that would require 4 off-colors).

The wither totems i place die instantly to pretty much all AoEs and ground effects, which makes them really hard to use to apply the debuff.

Is this normal and you just need to time/place them well, or am i doing something wrong?

They apply like 9 wither stacks per second, so they can die quick that is fine-ish. I usually place them in corner or far away from boss so they can barely reach him (but same usually applies for boss too).

Yeah, I get the same problem, they just seem kinda crap. Need to find a way for debuffs to be done automatically if that's possible

Withering Step applies 6 wither stacks, so you can pop that first and boss, then place totems (and at lvl 21 withering step applies 7 stacks).

EDIT: Also dont forget to flip totems at lvl 20 to 1/20, quality on them makes big difference as it noticeably improves placement time.
