Don't be a bellend, nothing would have to revolve around anyone with an auction house or another method of trading. maybe you missed the entire point of the thread. [Removed by Support]

Some of us work and can't spend half the day looking for a trade in a trading system that's dependant on ppl being online to complete transactions.

If any of this goes way over your head "which it obviously has" pls feel free to read the entire thread there's a good lad.

...wow. so you defend wanting people's gameplaying to revolve around you, to wanting to change the entire trade system due to your personal preference?

kudos.

i don't even know where to begin. this isn't even grammatically correct, so it's already drenched in unintentional irony.

further, you... should probably heed your own advice. you might want to look at the post you quoted.

no one else works, clearly. /s

i like how you're consistent with wanting to make the players revolve around you. and now the entire game, itself.

this person has an occupation?! welp, better change the entire game! it's not fair to player x, she/he/xir/thanos has a job!

i think much of the 'issue' with this topic is based on a faulty premise of people believing they're entitled to other's pixels.

ie: they see something listed, and they think it should just automatically be theirs because they want it.

more specific to the previous posts, someone's complaining about not being able to get afk items. now... if they're all afk, it seems likely to believe that he's complaining about not being able to snipe them. and pretends that if there was an AH, all of these items he wants would automatically be his.

except that... others would also see/want them.

generally, he wouldn't get the items, either way. so the complaint is that he sees them.

it's all so silly and fallacious.

people feel entitled to pixels. they don't even seem to comprehend that the other end are players, and not bots that exist to serve them.

This is too funny our posts are getting deleted but not his that support the state of trading at present. Censorship at its best gj GGG
Well, the usual sadly...

In that case on-topic completely:

No rob, you're generalizing, those statements can't be taken into perspective.

Please stay away from flooding this threat as well with tons of posts which just attack other people instead of focusing on the actual issue, would be appreciated.

He's also not talking about personal gain as this would effect everyone, so the notion is to re-work the system for the mass... which should be obvious without you attacking it.

Getting items from people who are afk or not online is another topic in itself, there can be a proper discussion if it should be done or not, with proper pros and cons regarding it.
It's off-topic to this discussion though, you're de-railing again.

The issues talked about are actual ones, you want to play the game, not trade in the game if you have only.. let's say 1 hour a day time, which can very easily be gobbled up by trying to get resources for crafting instead of actually attempting the 2 minutes of crafting following.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.
Hi Exiles,

Please be aware that while we do welcome any constructive feedback or suggestions you may have personally attacking the GGG staff or other Path of Exile players is not allowed.

Please ensure any further posts abide by our Code of Conduct.

my posts were literally about the issue and literally retorting an argument that was just made.

ironically, the above quote isn't about the topic...

wow. this makes no sense. he clearly stated his problem as being unable to get items from people who were afk. and then blamed it on working, as if the vast majority of players don't have jobs.

yes, it would affect everyone. THAT WAS MY POINT. because HE doesn't like it, we should ALL be affected. it makes no sense and holds no logical basis.

it's ironic because with an AH, he still likely would not be getting those items. he simply would never see them, to begin with.

so everyone should be forced into an AH because he wants something... that he's still probably not going to get, anyway.

this went from running with a fallacy to sprinting with it, while wearing a space-x rocket.

no one NEEDS other's pixels. if one has an hour to play, one should PLAY for that hour. people are responsible for their own actions. if someone CHOOSES to trade for pixels, instead - it's not the game's fault. it's the players.

Damn, the basement kid arguments are back. I love the logic of ''no one is entitled to'' excuse for everything. You want AH? You are not entitled to that because Rob says so.

Well guess what Rob? GGG is also not entitled on players spending $ on their game. The road goes both ways. The more frustrated people are and the more they quit, the more GGG will be forced to do something (yes, I use the word forced on purpose).

GGG also had the same argument regarding lockstep and they had to change their mind when players said ''enough''.

Guess what? GGG has to change based on the needs of the players, also the players show the middle finger and leave. Maybe in your head that's ok, but if the game starts to generate less and less money, Tencent will step in and will bulldoze all over Chris' management (not like he does a good job anyway) . They care about revenue, not about Chris stroking his ego in a ''hardcore'' game that is not really hardcore unless you play more non-meta builds.

i do say so... but that's not the reason. the reason that players aren't entitled to an AH/others pixels is just logic/fact.

me stating it didn't make it so.

bad use of sarcasm.

sorta. but if you're suggesting that you can pay for an AH, then... lolz.

not even close.

they didn't say they wanted desync by design, they said they couldn't (afford to have servers everywhere to) do lockstep.
