No ninja in pug group descriptions?

So, I been playing in groups and pretty much most people try to ninja each other, almost like its a mini game within the game.

I don't mind to much since it seems there is no other option, and it seems the best approach in PUGs is for everyone to ninja. And I don't even know if thats the right term, but you get the idea.

I see people post groups that say you get kicked if you ninja. Should I avoid these groups? Are they going to be super anal about the game so its not even fun? Or are these good groups where people actually share loot?

I haven't been grouping enough to really know, and I assume its all different accross the board but was interested on some feedback on this.

It seems like there is so much dropping in a group of 6 that sticks together that it doesn't even really matter that much....

The loot system as it is is complete garbage. A 'no-ninja' loot game means you don't take loot that is timer'ed unless the person leaves it and moves on. This gets annoying though when you are ahead of a group and you manage to solo a group of champions only to see a bunch of rares and currency drop with timers on them for people who were not even in the same part of the complex...I wish they would either get rid of timers altogether or make loot instanced.
I was playing in a 'no ninja' group the other day, had three rares drop with my name on them and they all got ninja'd but I didn't say anything cos I don't really care since im used to running with ffa anyway.

The funny part was when I grabbed someone elses chomatic orb, suddenly I had three people going who was that?, it was him, it was him, was it?, give it back, give it back, etc... this witch hunt went on for nearly 5 minutes until they finally kicked me from the party. All over 1 single chromie of which i have like 150+ anyway lol.

There parting words were "We'll remember your name, your never going to find any good party's now, hardcore is a small community"

I laughed all the way to my stash then joined an ffa group

trolling or just not very bright?

Just new to the game and started grouping more recently to get through some of the content in late cruel quicker.

I actually found 5 of my best friends in games in the ''no ninja'' groups.Yeah there were ninjaing going on but there were also very nice and polite people playing there. You should try to be nice sometimes. It pays off well.

Agreed. If I'm in a good "no ninja" group, which is what I prefer, I'll actually go out of my way to call out items that drop for people. You'd be surprised what sort of kindness comes back your way if you just start off by being polite in the first place.

This.

Everyone on my friends list who isn't a RL friend is someone I met in a no-ninja group. Now we're running maps together and splitting the profits from drops.

Threads like this amuse me. Go ahead, keep telling yourself how hard you are for camping drops and winning the latency RNG.
you cant ninja in this game..

what you can do is pick up items faster then others

Semantic arguments are kind of pointless. You know what he means by the statement. Stop trying to enforce double-speak.

No need to be condescending. In this game the community agreed upon definition of ninja = taking items that were allocated to another player once their timer has cleared.

You are trying to control the debate by arguing the semantics of the word ninja. In my opinion the semantic argument is pointless.
