No ninja in pug group descriptions?

I always make my games FFA for a few reasons

1. People will ninja anyway so why pretend otherwise

2. As it was said earlier, FFA games generally weed out the whiners. Not always but usually

My only rule is to let me curse since I can triple curse enemies. I don't want an enfeeble overriding my conductivity, elemental weakness and temporal chains

Are they going to be super anal about the game so its not even fun?

I once got kicked from a group for looting my own item. I was slow on the click and it went yellow for everyone and I zoomed over and picked it up. No one complained but apparently the leader was watching for anyone "ninjaing" and started yelling at me.

Is that a "not even fun" situation? I don't know, I found it hilarious. Its not like there is a shortage of farming groups out there.

Maps is a different situation - I greatly prefer to run those with people I trust and that will respect loot tags.
FFA is the only way to play. Theres no point arguing with people over timer drops when they don't even understand why the timer exists in the 1st place.

Most FFA game I join I constantly run into cool players who never bitch about drops. The lack of bitchin' is relaxing and makes the game enjoyable.

And alot of the time they actually offer drops to people in the group.

Avoid all games with NINJA in the title at all costs. Unless or course your goal is to annoy them. Then by all means. Do it :D!

Agree. NINJA LOOTERS KICKED games are 90% of the time filled with people that will ninja if anything decent drops. Having said that, I have played in a few gems of Non-Ninja groups where everyone respects loot, even to the point of alchemy orbs. Not sure what would happen if an exalt dropped though, and if a mirror dropped, there would be blood on the ground :)

In general those genuine non-ninja games are very rare and I just assume that "non-ninja game" = "here be ninjas". In fact, it has been my experience that on occasion it is the leader of the non-ninja group doing the the ninja'ing!

I also agree that FFA is more relaxing and generally moves along nicely, with people still sharing occasional loot they don't need.

Just a tip:

It is very easy to spot a ninja looter, before they actually ninja anything from their behaviour when items drop.

If it is yellow, or decent they will immediately move towards it and stand nearby. Genuine non-ninja players just move along if the drop is not theirs, even if it is rare or a decent orb.

.
What they need to do is just remove the name of who the item is for so no one really knows who was supposed to be picking up the item and then no one can complain.
You got a timer on the item. Can't reach it in time? Well too bad, means you suck and need more practice at moving. Learn the lesson and go practice.

I always join the no-ninja groups because they are the easiest to ninja! Wait for rares and useful orbs to ninja if you are slightly off from the group. If several people are right nearby then ninja away, since they cant tell who took it.

Don't be surprised if you get kicked eventually, but you can always join another :)

Cant wait for cutthroat!
I don't really group yet, I kind of suck, eh. That being said I would hope that when I do have to group that if someone is just posted up by my junk, waiting for a timer, if he goes for it. I should be able to flag him for a challenge(duel,I guess). Right there on the spot, you win you get all his stuff. Everyone in the jam gets to watch. Cutthroat maybe?

Can't help thinking that people like you have sad little lives and probably get enjoyment out of pulling the wings off flies.

I am a firm believer that your attitude and approach in game reflects your attitude and approach to people and situation in RL.
