What a patch...

Funny how 90% of the playerbase are suddenly "programmers" lecturing GGG the moment there is some minor hickup.

How about you guys create a game of your own ? It'll be perfect since you are such dev gods.

And pilots who crash their planes can only be criticized by other pilots. "Go learn to fly, man. Then you can talk shit about that guy."

Chefs who burn your food can only be criticized by people who are good at cooking.

Michael Bay can only be criticized by other film makers.

None of these is directly analogous to your statement, but the logical fallacy in each is identical to yours.

It's honestly discouraging seems every patch makes the gamer um worse in terms of performance etc

If you mean performance as in FPS, it has only gotten better in terms of performance since 2013.

Not sure how not being able to login or crashing as soon as you do can be considered a minor bug. Especially if this is affecting 90% of playerbase.

Again ... if you think you can do it better; you can make a game and release that amount of new shit every 3 months(!) then do it.

Otherwise stop crying like a little baby. Shit happens. They will fix it.

They are not saying they can do better, they don't have to. They are not providing the service, they are the customers. A standard of service is expected, that's why games who just release bugs after bugs lose players.

These aren't just minor problems so people naturally will feel frustrated. Complaining about a legitimate issue isn't whining, whining is complaining about something trivial and meaningless, in this context it isn't.

I am the only one that did not experience massive crash? I had 1 on first day and got the Shaper too much action thingy. since since then 0 crashed or disconnects.

i even never had issue with betrayal encounters.

*shrugs*

do the whole poe community play with a 25 years old computer with a 56k modem?

If you mean performance as in FPS, it has only gotten better in terms of performance since 2013.

It's likely specific skill combinations or some such causing the issue so not everyone will suffer the crashing.

LOL, is this supposed to be an argument for accepting the lack of quality?

I don't think he did that.

Knowing what it imply to do a video is a valid argument. Especially for PC development.

Company like GGG need to test their game on the more common PC configuration. Since PC can have many type of config, hardware, software it's hard for them to test every situation possible (in the contrary of console that it is just one thing to test)

So yes being a programmer trying to fit all those configuration is a pain. and the user will generally says prog stuff according to their local issue instead of seeing the big picture of what GGG is facing.
