Alright! I tweaked a couple things in the custom filter and added three more filters! You know you're excited.
The 4 filters are now: 1) The normal customized filter that's always been there. 2) The normal filter that excludes the type of items you tend to skip once your character is all setup. 3) A filter that has all my guides' filters mashed into one. "Hey CursorSize, This build is really good for labs. None of the guides that I make are the fastest that exist but the life regen on this is perfect for traps and the totems are great aggro. The build is more defensive than offensive as it's written, but you could easily make it more offensive by a couple natural gem switches (Flammability, Concentrated Effect) and also dual wielding is an easy change to make as well. I would suggest it for lab farming, yes. I assume you're comfortable leveling RF in HC? Hey Everyone!
I made a couple changes to the guide. Nothing major and nothing that anyone needs to change. -As I already posted, I added some new filters and tweaked the current one. -I changed Consecrated Path to Any Melee Skill (though I keep Consecrated Path in there as a suggestion). -I changed the wording of options for 6 linking RF. - I made many other tweaks as well and got rid of some sections that still referred to 3.6 but nothing build related. If you see any errors let me know. I'll be adding a section that details a little more on which mods are/aren't profitable to our build. I keep dying when I turn on RF and get into any big fight. I watch my life go to about 40 and then slowly starts to creep up to my current 1460 life. I use a life flask which slows down the life drain but not stop it. But RF seems to turn off and I have to click it on again. I thought you said that it stays on permanent until I die, logoff, of use a dousing flask.
I have 4 staunching flasks and 1 dousing Colossal flasks. My fire resist is 77% (137%) Is there an order of flask clicks I should be doing ? | |
"Hey Wizzzzer, I'm not sure what level you are but having max fire resist like you already do is imperative. So the only other thing you're missing is life regen. Here's a few tips for sustaining RF as soon as possible: - Select all the nodes on the Passive Tree as they come. Get all the South nodes first, then work your way up. Don't skip any. - Equip and start leveling your Stone Golem as soon as it's available. - Equip and start leveling your Purity of Fire as soon as it's available. - Equip and start leveling your Holy Relic as soon as it's available. - Use the multiple methods the build uses to create, then fight on Consecrated Ground. - By the time you kill Arakaali (the Spider Boss in Act 7) you can select the Pantheon option that unlocks (Soul of Arakaali). Have that and the minor God, Soul of Abberath selected. - Doing the first two suggested Ascendancies wouldn't hurt. - Get those Endurance charges up :). By the time you can actually sustain RF, you should only need your flasks for quick healing after a big hit, not for sustaining. Does that help? I am level 40. Just started Act 4 and finished up to Crystal Veins.
I have most of the southern nodes done. Just got Vigour and 2 points away from Golem's Blood. Stone Golem is level 6 Purity of Fire level 6 Holy Relic level 6 I always cast Holy Totem and then Consecrated Ground and stand next to Totem. I have not gotten any Ascendancy points yet. I will go complete first one. I guess I just need to wait a few levels for things to "kick in". I'm having a lot of fun with this build. Actually I can exist without the RF, but it takes longer to kill the enemy. Thanks for the response. | |
"I'm glad you're liking it. Prior to GGG releasing all the skills that gave Consecrated Ground, you could start sustaining RF after you killed the Act 7 boss. " Like I said I'm super casual and just hit level 55 and walked through the second labrynth. I'm sure this build can't stay God Mode forever, but I followed your guide and purchased what another user recommended and been able to keep up RF since mid 30s and it's been too easy haha. Your guide is phenomenal. Love this character. |
