As a Casual, I am sad that Synthesis is ending so soon

Synthesis had some problems at start, but was eventually turned into a pretty deep and rewarding league. It had a lot of things to learn and use to your advantage, even for a casual player.

And as a casual, I am certainly not able to develop more than one character during a league to a level when it finally feels fun and powerful (i.e. obtaining a Headhunter and such).

But now Synthesis is ending, and I feel like my character is being taken away from me, all beacuse of necessity to push new supporter packs onto a general playerbase.

GGG, please:

1. Leagues are too short for a casual playerbase to develop a charater and have time to enjoy it. Hectic schedule of league releases hurts quality and enjoyement. When the release problems are corrected, legue is sometimes dead already.

2. Standard is NOT an alternative to a league play, being too shallow, too unrewarding, with not enough people to play, with dead economy and inflated prices.

3. You are hurting casuals extremely bad by forcing resets (especially when resetting into a "simplier" (shallow) leagues, just beacuse you need to churn out content and push supporter packs.

I will probably not be playing Legion, and I will certainly not be buying a supporter pack. I urge anyone who agrees with this sentiment abstain from buying a supporter pack also.

For the sake of the casual playerbase 3-month release schedule needs to go away!

I'm fairly certain using a headhunter as your measuring stick automatically excludes you from being a casual unless you got it from like 100% luck. I mean sorry OP but you are the least casual casual i've ever seen :p you've even got 36 challenges which puts you into the like top % of players by itself.

Well, why shouldnt the OP call himself casual? A word like "casual" is pretty worthless in a game targeting a hardcore community.

There was somebody with 40/40 who called himself casual. There was a funny discussion about if "casuals" would use exalts for metacrafting. Some people even claim that everybody, who is neither in the racing community nor can live off a PoE Twitch stream, is a casual.

A true casual by other games' standards would quit after finishing act 10.

Im pretty sure, that Im not a casual. Im something beneath it. It just doesnt have a name here.
Hardcore is a term used where reality knocks on the door of a nursery.

No actually playing the game infrequently makes you a casual.
So you are casually hardcore ;)

I

Std economy is not dead, you just can t sell crap items. Prices are about the same as in temp league 2 month in unless you want to buy the actual league specific uniques or items or legacy stuff.
Both league and std are unrewarding.

Casuals should only be allowed on Fridays.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

he had to play it pretty frequently to get a HH
The last 3-4 Weeks is allready more or less dead, adding a month more wont help the issue :).

Stay with 3 months in my opinion.
