Furthermore I feel like this game won't be any competition to diablo 3 at all, simply because even if it somehow gets 200.000 active players, (which is A LOT for a semi-indie game like this mind you) that's still peanuts compared to what diablo's playercount will be like.

what blizzard needs to do for diablo 3 is to remove all restrictions to class based skills and clone poe passive skill system into their existing system.

they should also restore back the previous skill rune system and clone poe active skill socket into their skill rune.

Why is Vivendi so sure that in 1 month that Activision Blizzard stock is going to go down that they only hold enough to still be called the owners?

Simple.
1) Sell stock during game hype at high price point. (A few weeks ago Vivendi owned 66% of Activision Blizzard.)
2) Diablo 3 tanks.
3) Stock drops.
4) Buy back.
5) Profit.

Remember guys, this is the EXACT SAME company that makes Caawa-Dooty.

This is why corporations dont make good games. Infact Acti-Bliz laid of 600 people in March, thats 13% of the total workforce of 5000.

Remember guys they are only gonna need 3 map makers and 1 artist for the menu to get Caawa-Dooty: Outdated Warfare 4 out the door.

The men in suits never made game design at the very best they urged the release of the game (wich means no PVP at release and the PVP in D2 sucked).

By the list of games you made earlier you said you dont own WoW wich is a great game btw it may not suits your "elite hardcore gamer" standards but saying its crap is basically saying that 10 millions ppl (counting only the ones that STILL play it) are morons.

If you want to make the perfect game why dont you put up a team like GGG did and leave this forum alone as trolling here wont make D3 better, match your expectations or an improved D2 whatsoever.

How many buttons are on a controller? 4 on the back, 4 on the face, Directionals, start pause. Hmmm how many buttons does it take to map each of Diablo 3's spells and a potion to its own button on a controller... Ohhh I see, Diablo 3 is a console game waiting to be ported over.

Not a lot of choice here, but you will certainly have some kind of buff in your 8 skills, like Lightning Shield, Molten Shell, Blood Rage, the new auras...

So yeah, in the end, you'll have 6 active skills aswell, and you will most likely use only 2 of them ^^;

But 5 potion slots, find me a way to select potion slots on a controller thats action viable.
