Hi i agree with you, i was so excited when i heard D3 is coming out, because i played D2 a lot, but than i saw what they did to him. I was very disappointed not only they f***ed up skill system(probably because they can't think of more of the new skill), but they also made auction house that is going to use real world money, so that way a person who have the most money will be the strongest in the game and most of of the players will play the game so that they could sell items for real money and not for the pleasure of just the game itself. Blizzard did that probably so that game will be sold out very quickly. That is why from now on i will support only those games like this one that is free and that show that there are still game companies that think about the players and not just them self!!!!

To some guy who mentioned Planescape Torment: yeah, and that is how I found PoE, glorious Double Fine, inXile, and now Ai Lowe march, which led me to accidently discovering PoE, and pulled some strings in my heart, I thought were long forgotten... And the morale is that PoE is game, in my opinion, for those who want D2 feel, who want something specific, who want hardcore. In total, it is a game that oriented to people who want that kind of game. And I agree with Fargo, why do give a second thought about ppl who want to play more light game, so I choose product that is for me, and developer chooses where he doing the game, and not trying to serve everyone. So I think that discussion is two things: Reasons for people expecting something from D3, that they expecting it wrong and primary is outbreak of emotions about Blizzard, who we were expecting same old D game, with all the improvements and evolution. Eventually D3 is more casual oriented. So what? This game is its-own-player oriented and these people will play PoE, and not D3, which is superb. By bringing out all these things that are better for us, than in D3, we make impression, and here I agree with guy who said that this thread is for many ppl, so please maybe try a little more civilized conversation?

Meh, each and every one of the people who signed that petition are whiners. I'm willing to bet they'd all enjoy D3 greatly, but are just too stubborn to ever come to that realisation.

in the long run PoE will not benefit about all the hate for D3, even if Blizzard has change staff or partners Diablo is Blizzard's franchise and PoE is based in a Blizzard's game and the reason that brought the 90% of ppl in PoE is a Blizzard's game.
So even if ppl dont like D3 without even played it they should respect and not being ignorant about Diablo, and GGG i believe wants in this PoE forums, PoE to be talked not D3.
Uhhh I'm not sure if troll or if serious. Also not sure what he is trying to say here.

Seriously, this is Diablo 3 broken down into quick description:
1: no skill points.
2: no stats points.
3: no rune items.
4: no diablo artwork style.
5: 4 player parties.

Those things dont exist in PoE, I played the stress test up to level 20, and this game is going to be the king of ARPG.
It took less than 10 people to make Diablo 1, less than 40 to make Diablo 2 and thats why Diablo 3 is going to be a big corporate flop. It takes dedicated, motivated, loving, and frightened developers to make a true diablo game, never knowing if they will have a job if they fuck the game up.
