The forums are definitely eroding in both quantity AND quality. I was a regular poster but I only go in fits and spurts now.
It is the same round and round on four subjects anyway so it just gets boring and tiresome - trade, lab, nerfs, and GGG/Tencent. Also, General Chat is waning as well, which I see as a waning of playing population. Back in the dizzay you would log into General Chat 3 or 4 because all the rest were full. Nowadays its Chat 1 every time, and that way lies dragons. And insanity. |

I have not cared for Gen 3 at all and regularly complain about it (except abyss and delve which I got into) but this game is far from dead KMQ. Watch Chris' talk at GDC every league numbers ramping up player base.

The league numbers aside from the initial peak looks pretty bad - we're talking about year 2017 numbers. As I mentioned before, for everyone game being dead means different things, for me it's the social features & trade. " Game client is 1/3, Steam is 2/3. We need to understand that the amount of bots has also drastically increased over the past 2 years which obviously are counted in as well.
