Why is this game so easy?

PoE is simple only to a certain level. I still remember players from Delve who went very deep in the mine - I play for nearly a year, I could clean their shoes

Several reasons:

ARPGs by their nature are not difficult (until you hit the "brick wall", ofc). They have a low skill threshold and tend to challenge your gear and game knowledge rather than any "skill" you might have (game knowledge is, of course a skill in its own right but I disgress).

Also, did you pimp out that character at all? I'd would cite any of the following as counting as "pimping" out a character:

a) You used decent gear you already had from previous characters
b) You traded for gear that was decent for your character
c) Your build followed an established guide

Any pimping of a character will result in the game feeling easier than it would for a "normal" player. Play it SSF if you want a proper challenge.

You know what, i don't care about this game a bit anymore. I play Tekken for online and 4x games for offline which are both fun and challenging.

Also you seem like an actual troll trying to provoke in a necro thread. You can get your teengasm by killing Shaper and talk to yourself how great you are after killing a stupid boss by spending meaningless hours on maps. Good for you. Hardcore make it worse imo. People are farming easier content hours and hours then die when they try harder content. I don't see it making game "harder". It is just more time spent on easier content.

So why don't you just play hardcore and play the difficult content? Are you worried about dying? Fun fact: if you're dying, the game isn't "easy".

If we're going to be honest, HC gets a bad rep because that's how a lot of players play.

- logout macro
- do easy content
- die anyway

Game is really hard. I did uber elder on third try and last portal. What moron saying it's easy? There so many hard content that I afraid to do it because of dyeing. Deep delve red elder, shaper, uber atziry and so on. Easy? Absolutely not.
