Why is this game so easy?

The game is as easy as you make it. If you play a lot in a trade league, know what you are doing and are not an idiot - yes the game is relatively easy. But come on folks - have some imagination. If you want it harder make your own rules and limitations. Or play SSF with a non-meta build. etc. etc.

Run slower, non-meta builds - it’s a TOTALLY different game if you’re not making use of the small group of popular items and skills.

This game’s bad balance leads to issues with difficulty (including it being too easy if you’re following the league’s go-to build formula).

This game is hard in ways it shouldn't be (lag, one-shots, bugs) but no-one who had actually played it would be able to accuse it of being too easy. It's one of the deepest, most difficult, punishing games I've ever played.

The real question though is, is it fun?

This is like OP complaining in the water park that the pool he in to is not deep enough but keeps playing on the kiddie pool.

Why not go in the adult pool next to it?

Yes I know, also more complain in the adult pool like; the water in the adult pool was not actually deep, they just lowered the bottom of the pool, why bother playing on the adult pool when you can just use floating device, adult pool is not deep (8 feet deep) it's only dangerous, etc...

Let the kids play in the kiddie pool, you want deeper pool, the game also provided you the option for that.

come play hardcore, its still easy but not quite as much ;)

in softcore all roads lead to success ; that ain't no fun.

Yeah the game is boring when you already do every endgame content possible. (yes, I do) with sometimes 5 diffs build every league in softcore.

hardcore impossible for me due bad connection.

40% ingame + 60% in POB. (whos with me?)

For me its lack of raid mode and proper loot system. With couples of player do this and that ( I do play GW2 too). Even if u play with other players with some random ppl there are not enough loots for everyone in POE. But maybe I don't understand enough about ARPG.

But by all means, it's NOT EASY GAME.

I have never quite understood the need for people to proclaim a game is ‘too easy’, when the concept of the genre is to collect better and better gear so that the game BECOMES easy mode.

Also, games should not be balanced around either the simple casual or the no lifer, but somewhere in the middle. Sometimes you have to check your entitlement at the door and realize the game doesn’t revolve around just you and your particular playstyle...
