Why GGG stoped listen our voices?

@To OP: GGG does listen. But they are just stubborn in some aspects ( probably based on lessons learned from other games and statistics they deem relevant). I don't think they are evil.

" customers are just another game. you can train them to a certain point. example? what shizzard did with their real money auction house caused a long time damage to all arpgs out there for the coming centuries. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" What a naive statement. The RMAH was just an attempt the control digital exploitation that stemmed from D2, via Ebay, PayPal and other RMT sites. People made choices on their own. To just blanketly say that consumers have no blame or control of their own purchasing and playing actions is ridiculous. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

" first time a company had the guts (or insanity) to profit from businesses that potentially killed their main business. if you can't kill them, join them? if anything is naive, it's been shitzzard executives at this point. outcomes of this folly are known. and as sane people predicted would come. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" 1> If you buy a 2000 car, will his price increase because of inflation? 2> Old games are old games, their production cost is not relevant anymore when fixing a price for them. 3> Let's make an assumption: Imagine that players buy supporter packs every league, even if they will not play the league or the game at all. If the league turns great they will have provided positive feedback to the company, if the league turns awful they will have provided positive feedback to the company. See the problem here, even if the company chooses to cut their development cost(and for consequence quality) by 50%, their financial gains would remain the same so they would keep reducing costs to get the best profit possible (every company goal is profit). Now let's imagine a world where buyers would only buy supporter packs/games when the game is well made, (few bugs, all content is there, no bad practices) - so positive feedback. And they would not buy any supporter pack/game when the patch/game sucks (full of bugs, bad content, bad practices) - so negative feedback. The company would be forced to ensure the quality of their product (which is something that the game industry, in general, is not even trying anymore lol). As for fun, it's subjective, no way to argue there. But i guess the majority of the gamers don't like bugfests and unfinished content. 4>Never put the blame on the consumers. you know that a game industry only exists because consumers buy them right? And the only ones with power to change the industry are the consumers. The sellers wants profit, no matter what it takes, if selling bad games earns them more money than selling good games, they will only sell bad games (not because they are evil but because they are doing that for profit, and there is no problem in that). Only the consumers can mitigate that effect by not buying bad games. Last edited by Mortyx#1049 on May 3, 2019, 12:27:38 PM
