Why GGG stoped listen our voices?
" It doesn't matter cause all these mechanics will be gone in 4.0. That will be the season of streamlining, making the game fit for the 2020s. |

I've been unhappy with all Gen 3 except abyss and delve. Way too tedious. Like remerber caputuing them beasts and 99% beast totally useless? Or how about 97% temple useless 3 rooms decent. Or unveil 1 million useless rares just to get recipes. Just no for me. They are probably trying retention longer with these tedious mechanics but all it does is make me quit in 3 days max. I have better things to do with my time like watch grass grow or post here.
If they want successful flashback just rewind Delve. Doh. Most people and streamer played until last day. They didnt need a gimmick flashback. Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on May 1, 2019, 3:37:55 AM

" This is true its like walmart is super popular and I never shop there prefering specialty stores. One thing is ggg are more popular than ever so I assume making more cash than ever so as a company who exists to make money they probably think they are making right moves. At the end of the day money talks loudest so they are listening if increasing cash and all indication are they are. Like in Chris dev talk every league charting upwards even tho I think gen 3 for most part been sucky Git R Dun! Last edited by Aim_Deep#3474 on May 1, 2019, 4:07:27 AM

Let's be real, the problem of gaming industry right now are the players. Back in the days only nerds would play games, and nerds tend to be goodwill people that value honor and good principles.
Then 2000 happened and gaming industry started attracting the masses, not only the nerds play the games, but also the "cool dude" at school and his father. Games start attracting addicts that are not playing games to have fun, they only play games because it's "meta" playing games. So they don't care about the state of the games they play. This leads to the "downfall" of games where "Fun" is the last important thing in the to-do list of gaming companies. They talk about player retention, sales practices, community interaction, esports. But they are reluctant to say "This game in FUN". Now we have a gaming industry where the prices of everything is raising year by year (there are 15 dollar year 1998 games, with no changes whatsoever, on steam). Games more often than not come unfinished, DLCs that either fixes the unfinished original product or add like 1% content having the same price as the full game. And all this happens because the players keep financing these companies (because most of the gaming community nowadays plays because its real life meta to play), and if their sales are better each year with them putting less and less effort in the product, why should they not do it? One side we have AAA companies delivering unfinished products for fortunes, and on the other side we have indie companies selling early access games, often for fortunes too, (which 50% will never leave the early access phase for reasons) and both companies are getting richer and richer. If in real life you bought a car, and it only came with 3 tires, and you had to pay an add to get the 4th tire, would you accept it as normal? I don't think so. So why people accept it in the gaming industry is beyond my comprehension. Just to make clear, i am not talking about any specific company, but about the the entire gaming industry right now. And i am not against gaming companies wanting to make money, but there should be some basic ethic on how they do this. (20 years ago if you tried to sell a bug-fest unfinished game, you would fail hard, because no one would buy it). |

20 years ago, great games were made by teams of 3-5 people over their summer breaks. Ok... maybe 40 years ago.

" Lets be real, garbage is being sold in front of our eyes 24/7. I'm not going to make a long list of analogies but exactly the very same reasons why games are shit, are the same reasons why it's difficult to find any proper healthy food nowadays. I've been buying only fresh meat & vegetables for a looooong time already - nothing packaged. You can't even buy pumpkin in a jar without it being 20% sugar. You yourself are probably guilty of that as well. If this would be a food forum, they'd blame people like you; just like you are blaming "new gamers". On the positive side I've become a mad good cook within the last 10 years! " Im very Confucius, you make your own game now ? You have to remember to chase and catch your dreams, because if you don't, your imagination will live in empty spaces, and that's nowhere land.
