Stash Tab Pricing

Neversink's filter includes several more/less strict variations.

Without doubt it is possible to finish game with just 4 regular tabs (from start to killing uber elder). Tho i can't imagine how anybody can say that just currency and bundle premium tabs is enough for true endgame.
Bare minimum in trade league is all specialized tabs and ~6 +- 2 quad tabs.
Personally besides this i use second currency&divination tab and more than 20 premium tabs i bought in the past. It's not just a matter of convenience that let me save hours I would otherwise spend on searching for an item on poe.trade.

Poe is balanced around trading. Most people have not even a slightest idea how market works, how to price stuff or make currency. The only way they interact with this part of game ends with selling stuff and buying stuff.
Because of this huge storage space is a must. I played in trade league for 3 weeks. Besides making big money from selling stuff wanted by everybody i also utilized my 20 premium tabs by just throwing generally good but niche stuff i would otherwise ignore/vendor.
Do you know how much i made from selling some random melee type of jewels with very strange rolls and other stuff only people with their special snowflake builds would use during 3 weeks i played in trade league? Between 60 and 80 ex. More than casual players who can't profit from understanding market would ever need for their build. I even didnt bother to check current "market" prices of stuff i would throw to this tabs. I just looked at them and decided this goes to 5c this to 10 c and this 2ex etc.

Simply saying stash tabs are must. The less you understand market the more stash space you need so you at least have a chance to enjoy your build in some working form (not just play 20c glacial cascade mines build and call it a day).

And yes they are too expensive. I think i can say i supported GGG a lot with my money. Tho i would be much happier to support them further if instead of spending points for "must have quality of life stuff" i could just buy nice looking stuff for my characters, some stupid meme dance or ho decorations.
Even now after spending hundreds of $ i can't say im happy with amount of visual mtxs i currently have because most of points i had to spend on storage space.

Don't keep gems without quality that is not empower, enlighten or enhance (These are special and cannot be bought at vendor).

Vendors sell gems, there's a library in act 3 that sell a lot of gems and in act 6 after the first quest a vendor is selling all gems in the game (Except empower, enlighten and enhance)

Thanks... that's amazing advice and will save a whole page for me. Do you have a loot filter recommendation?

Use NeverSink. He has different sort of strictness.

Otherwise I can recommend using FilterBlade: https://www.filterblade.xyz/
It is based on NeverSink, but you can modify it. Pick Semi-Strict in Strictness and pick the weapontype you use under preset -> levelling

If you want to spend 30$ or 60$, you should buy a supporter pack. You get most bang for the buck this way. I think you can upgrade 30$ supporter packs to 60$ supporter packs without extra charge, if you want to support with more and want more stash tabs

To re-iterate... I am 100% supportive of developers charging for these options, but it has to be more affordable than this.

For me it's the opposite. I can afford them but i have problem with them even existing in the first place. Do yourself a favor and stay away from fee-to-pay games. Thank me later.

You'll want. They've made a game that causes that. That's how they make their money. If they made a game where you got everything you wanted, you wouldn't want. And you wouldn't play it.

Buy what you can afford. Don't buy stuff that's "too expensive". You don't need it. Yes... if you can only afford $20, you'll have to do without. That's life. There's a good description of what to do with $40, and $60. You'll be fine with either of those. After that, you're "wasting" your money. I've "wasted" over $300, with no regrets. I use about 20 tabs out of the 100 or so I bought. I remember back when I had 20+ pages devoted to currency and 12 pages devoted to gems. Crazy times. You don't need to do that anymore.
Ggg needs to start charging a sub. Weed out the whining freeloaders.
I came from D3 and I was GRATEFUL to be able to purchase stash tabs! I have 28, even with Synthesis, I only use 19, and probably 3 of those are empty.
They are not that expensive, I waited for the sales and got currency, map, div, ess, premium bundle twice and upgraded all my normals so I could name them.
GGG has a very good game and $120 for a year of great gaming ain't shit.
I remember the good old days of buying a $60 game, getting it home and it was garbage, or I finished it in 3 hours and never wanted to touch it again.
I am angry about the Intervention lag, but if they fix it, I will get a Quad stash as well... they deserve the money, it's a great game.
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...

aside from your weak bait you're right, they need to make the game b2p they would need to overhaul the entire package of things if you pay a subscription.
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words.

poe0.2/10. Nuff said.
Still think GGG should set up a system where players can contribute to a pool and have that distributed to people who <insert task to prove need and warrant>. Should be some other way to "earn" GGGold without having to pay for it yourself. Some people just can't pay, for what ever reason.

At this point, I'd probably quit if they moved to a subscription. It's not that I can't afford it... it's that I would feel like they owed me something. They would never meet that obligation, and it would always be there.

A crowdfund for people who can't afford to play a free-to-play game? As absurd as that sounds, I get that your idea is meant to be good thing.

With that said, a sub based model is probably the best for the game's health. But it's not going to happen as long as GGG can continue to just push content and collect supporter packs.

If leagues were optional payable content, GGG would see a lot less money which would only be a good thing IMO. They could then probably realize that pumping out halfdone content and mtx maybe isn't what the game really needs. Perhaps they would then do a 180 and start focusing on real issues such as balance, gameplay & performance for example. Who knows.
