Winter Orb is probably one of the dumbest skills in PoE history

Winter Orb ruins the game for me somewhat.

Its so overpowered and easy to use that any other skill will just seem unplayable. I usually get bored with a skill after a week at most.

So when i get bored of Winter orb and try to play with something else it just feels so slooooow in comparison and my motivation to play just fizzles out.

This. I think the problem is after you play an op skill/build everything else feels like shit. So to keep people playing GGG has to release even more op stuff. After wo gets nerfed next patch we will see some even more op skills.

Im sure it will get nerfed into the ground and no one will play it again, seems to be the common occurrence when they nerf skills that players bitch about.

No, GGG dont nerf skills to the ground for a long time. Look at Storm Brand and Arc that were most popular in the past. They got only slight nerf, but because GGG added skills that are even better than them pre-nerf (Winter Orb, Soul Rend, Bane) people just forget those skills exist and jump on another meta bandwagon.

In next league expect Winter Orb nerf and new skills that will be even more OP than Winter Orb.

Arc nerf is slight. Now with Arc Traps/Mines you clear "only" whole screen instead 3 screens away. Literally unplayable!

Yup, both skills were nerfed and now no one uses them. See a pattern here?

You said Storm Brand isnt good because of node placement for Brands, but when I reminded you that it was one of two most popular skill when it came out, you suddently changed your mind and say its not good because of nerf and it was ok before..
