Winter Orb is probably one of the dumbest skills in PoE history

Now the game only needs to run and loot automatically. Hopefully we can just let the game do its thing by 4.0 .
AMAZING You have to remember to chase and catch your dreams, because if you don't, your imagination will live in empty spaces, and that's nowhere land.

I just switched to a WO build. I tried out several builds this season but WO seems to be most rewarding. Just stack orbhs and dash through the map. Why should i selfcast? i just feels inferior to WO like builds.
Normally i like things like IceNova, Arc, Summoner etc |

Wo is cool, it's not as dumb as you think else you can also vomit on blade vortex, righteous fire... We could include all skills cleaning whole screen in 1 click like tornado shot ? Because TS has a larger range... Or summoners ?
Archetype skills are getting nerf'ed in a lapse of 2-3 leagues so don't mind. Finally the most dumbest skills are those where you have to clicklickclickclick all the time, this is a dumb thing too after all.. |

" -2 “I win” buttons ruin the game for everybody, and the “you’re just jealous” argument is absurd. Anyone can follow a guide and create an OP meta build in this game, guys, it’s not difficult or worth bragging about. We're all in this leaky boat together, people.

Okay I admit I only read the first page and then posted, so apologies if repeats.
Already said, but worth rementioning - totems have long been in the game, and I loved playing them as much as I enjoy worb. Also, if you haven't seen the console creep in this game, clearly now you do. Get used to it. Autotarget, easy skills to use with controllers are becoming more and more prevalent, to spell it out. By the way, the dominance of worb will be removed when GGG nerfs the "extra chaos damage" affix, which is what makes this skill over the top. They nerfed stat sticks, they are totally going to get rid of this as well. Last edited by Slaanesh69#4492 on Apr 24, 2019, 11:14:16 AM

I don't know, I finally am playing a golemancer and most of the time I'm trying to keep up with the golems as they kill things ahead of me. I'm pretty sure its the laziest build ever.

" It is what really puts it over the top though. The game SHOULD have a myriad of super-strong builds, but that extra chaos is what makes it shine. The chestpiece, the master crafted double scepters, why do you think EVERY build has these???? |

Fair enough, Trickster cast speed stuff needs a little looking at too perhaps.
But I am not against overpowered skills. The game needs meta skills for people to aspire to play. That's how I play PoE. I never reach the pinnacle because I don't min/max or trade much so I plateau and move to the next build. |

nice console skill, works on PC too :p

" Righteous Fire comes from a time when GGG treated the balance of skills zealously. Skills were not intentionally released broken, and were broken by the players. In "old" PoE RF was a buff: burn some life, get some spell damage for a few seconds. And then people found that with a lot of specific gear and tree investment, you can keep burning. And then others found that with even more investment you can actually kill monsters with it, and not just perma-buff your main skills. I'm not saying there weren't any super-strong meta skills back then. Heck some of my best game moments back in Beta and early 1.x, were in a party with a Spark Totem guy (who is an awesome player btw). I'm not saying there wasn't any top-tier gear like Shavronne's to maximize builds, by giving them permanent low-life buffs and a ton of auras. But Winter Orb is the kind of skill Mark would not even put on the drawing table, back then. Now I guess he just said "fuck it". Or maybe he's not the skill designer/balancer anymore.
