It doesnt exclude possibility they will make such game in the future. It does exclude possibility that they are working on it (or started before).

Well consider this, regardless of the community 'blacklash' last year, it's about time soon a new major Blizzard title is revealed(Diablo or whatever, not remakes, w3 reforged etc). The 'leaked kotaku article' makes sense in that regard, the cancelled second D3 expansion a few years back also makes sense if a new project was given priority. In any case i believe the 'backlash' last year may have hastened their plans for whatever is to come, this years Blizzcon a likely target.
