And you clearly don't understand my point. As the other poster said... 2019 (but that's gaming communities in general these days).

Get spoon fed anything and everything, goble it all down and then complain there's not enough to do, or its now boring, make more, but make it easier and less time consuming... because your time is clearly so important and so is your forum Epeens at the end of the day.

The only really complaint anyone should have these days against most devs, is the sellout behavior at the slightest bit of success, leading to share holders and profit based decisions. All modern game houses are currently suffering this. Even look at the Epoch Kickstart, buggy as shit, very dated graphics and core, poor story and animation and already their supporter page is plaster in $100-1000 mtx supporter packs. Wtf? Game isn't even on Beta yet.

Point is the changes aren't for you they are for the money. Regardless of what 4.0 brings, and that's why Diablo got gutted to a now mobile game; to make money for Activision. That was the point friend.

Absolutely no debate, there should be autoloot for most orbs and scrolls and other basic meta currency loot.
Suck it in like a vacuum with a nametag that fades out in a static position where the loot was, or flies to a corner of our choice stacking and fading so we can get a glimpse of what we picked up.

With THIS much shit in the game, even with loot filter on, players are spending more time stopping to pick up loot than actually playing.


Heh, Sekiro literally had that vaccuum mechanic that suck up all loot.

I think there can be a compromise in the middle. I would like that currency of similar types are collected instantaneously, this helps a lot in lab chests, memory rewards, harbinger shards. This way you don't need to click spam ONE by ONE for all of them. Picking things up by clicking is a core part of ARPG but surely there can be a middle ground to keep that element but make life much easier for players.

I will say this reflects my sentiments exactly.

I carry no animosity that GGG has found their financial niche with this, but I do carry a lot of sadness that the standard loot-based ARPG seems to be a dying breed. It's my genre, and it seems to be fading.
Character model and equipment remake. Every item is unique now, equipped, in the inventory and on the ground.

Double character classes with gender flipped versions which have their own set of three Ascendancies. Heard you like to make builds, so we doubled them.

All characters have voice acting through all acts appropriate to the current state of the lore. Some voice actors couldn't come back so we had to replace them, sorry.

Now introducing clothing MTX for your character models.

We know about character models but what else?
Modern engine with better camera would be cool. Lets dream more abut physic involving gameplay ...
Reducing the clutter on the screen should be a priority (both loot and graphic effects).
Make looting and party great again!

Well, it does run on the PS4 now, so there must be a new engine, since PS4 can't do DX. Will they use that engine for the PC? Probably not... although it would also open PoE for Mac and Linux (native, that is, not in Wine).

They have a modular engine that they're updating constantly. This complaint makes no sense.

The problems caused by bloated netcode and dynamic resource loading are not something that will be magically fixed by "suddenly, new engine!" The engine in 2019 already works almost nothing like the engine in 2014. What you should be asking for is for the future engine updates to focus on specific problem areas, like whatever part of it causes that massive intervention lag on most people's machines.


Anyway, all I want in 4.0 is fully-voiced exiles. Not just act 5 through 10 but also exile voice acting for all zana questline-related encounters.

I looked forward to 4.0 when they may finally add multiplayer to the game, & upgrade the Toons models to groundbreaking PS3 level details.
