Fight Club Brad Pitt > Troy Brad Pitt
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Thanx, I was trying to remember that name, but brain fart. Good old days...

Hey, I wonder if they'll say that about PoE. Probably not. Do we even have those right now? Games that we can look at with wonder and go, 'wow, that's genuinely doing something new and a little bit scary'...Or do we need like, ten+ years of hindsight?
PoE years from now will be known as the game where "I could make broken unstoppable godlike characters with millions of ways to do so".

The irony!

Saying "there is no point arguing against random people" while doing it and having post history full of doing exactly that.

This is such a hilarious fedora brainlet post that it's almost like a copy pasta. The best part is that you have to ASSUME what kind of people support specific sort of opinions, showing that fresh air & human interaction are strangers to you.

You are exactly the kind of random people I'm talking about. End of conversation. One more post quoting me I'm reporting you.

You remind me of those children in competitive video games who threaten to report you for stomping them. You don't need to be the peak of intelligence to realize that quoting someone on a social platform isn't a bannable offense.

Spoiler
I think it is true that the critical thinking taught at a tertiary level is something other and more advanced than what is taught during the 12 or so years of education before it (hardly a revelation there), BUT I think it's the height of hubris to assume that critical thinking at a tertiary level is the only way to approach a problem or, as appears to be the case here, some sort of threshold of intelligence that denotes whether or not someone is capable of non-binary thinking.

I don't agree with you here. Critical thinking is merely a level or way of thinking, the most rational and adequately analyzed way of doing it. You do not necessarily need tertiary education to be qualified to understand that stopping at the first car in your train of thoughts won't lead up to a proper analysis of the thinking task at hand.
Some of your spiritual parts of life cannot be rationalized but that's where I would draw the line of not needing critical thinking.

I laugh at Coloss' not because he thinks that 80% of the people are stupid or because he thinks that critical thinking is required to have a proper discussion - I agree with that 100% and I feel the same way, if anything I would raise the numbers. I laugh at him because he belongs to the very same group of people who he is talking down about.
It's not about that we have different opinions, it's the fact that his thinking is very basic and his actions are contradictory to his statements while being completely clueless about it - just your average sleepwalker in life except this time with a fedora!

And you are that kind of kid, the more people tell you not to do something, you do it more. And again, there is absolutely no intellectual substance in you comment about anything.

Enjoy the report. End of conversation.
