The ending of POE ?

The game is fucked up -- People realize GGG balances the game for streamers -- People realize they are not a streamer -- People leave.

PoE isn't dead..it's only lost 40k players on Steam in 3 weeks..so half the player base lol
I can chain T16s SSF so never understood this map issue. You just have juice your maps.

4 chis
alc
5 sextant
Vaal and or zana beyond.
Run on influences

The worst maps to run are guardian maps. Shape up underground sea. Delete guardians.

4,728 playing 19 min ago. Looks like... total disaster for me? Its evening, no serwers down. Game is probably far from being"dead" but players retention looks catastrophic.
You have been placed on probation for: ● Make hateful or needlessly negative comments ● Personally attack or cause harm to the reputation of others ● Antagonise others in an obnoxious manner ●
The only thing worse than a "bad league", is players hyperboling.

Why does every "unpopular" decision from GGG have to be "the end"? Why does players leaving/taking a break from one league, have to be Ragnarok? Apocalypse? Armageddon?

Chill the fuck out!

Don't even bother replying to this guy. He's the leader of the white knights, there could literally be 1 person playing and he would say the game is in a fantastic spot.
I imagine there are waaaay more casual players playing through steam client than the standalone one. Casuals usually quit the league earlier so you cannot just base the numbers off steam.

Having that said. Players taking a break/waiting for next league a month into the league is a very common thing. It is also one of the reasons people keep coming back. Taking breaks from a game is very healthy. Each league cannot be a perfect match for everyone. This one doesn't call to me but this doom and gloom on the forum needs to stop. It is ridiculous and harms the game a lot.

For Self-Validation, their need to create "drama" to justify their reason to leave or stop playing even if their reason is actually true or not. It's one way of convincing themselves that they are doing the right choice. If they are convince that the game is doom or the game makes everyone miserable, it's much easier for them to let go. Who wants to stop & leave the game where everyone is having fun? So, they convince themselves otherwise.

It's basic psychology, it happens in all aspect of our lives, same reason people create drama in their social media during relationship break up or when people say bad things about their company after leaving their job.

It's supposed to make you WANT to waste your time."
