The ending of POE ?
" This is a greed. Common, aggressive, blind and short minded greed. Most of this community still believe that someone is doing them a favour because this game is free-to-play and nobody can complain (at least not too much). This is stupidity. This game is a business as any other. Compare the numbers - this business is profitable enough, that Tencent bought 80% of GGG and paid more than 100mln.$. Diablo 1 - nobody says that this was free-to-play, indie game, "garage" game, anything like that, was sold in 1.3 mln. copies till 2000, and Diablo 2 was sold in 4 mln. copies in the first year. Assuming average price 30$ per 1 copy, this gives 120 mln.USD. Diablo 2 was professional, well designed, well tested, well balanced, nicely looking game. I guess GGG income level is around 50 mln. USD per year and they are unable to deliver comparably polished product. Greed - because good programmers are expensive, testing a game is expensive, a development of proper and in some way addictive endgame content is expensive. There are plenty 3D designers nowadays. They are cheap. New wings, helmets, cloaks, boots etc. are very cheap. This is why there are so many of them and the game is still full of bugs. This. Common, aggressive, blind and short minded greed. Let's show the best results to our masters, win the highest bonuses and run away before everything gets scattered.

" Maybe they really think that we all would like to play a dress-up game. You know... Templar in the lace bra... some people would love that. ;-) |

Former players, those who have supported GGG since the beginning no longer counts.
Now leave room for POC (path of craft) and POT (path of trad) the H&S is no longer profitable enough. GGG has become big, very big. The gourmandise is becoming stronger. thank you GGG for these wonderful years, this game stays in my heart! It's only a good bye. Last edited by NeoG#6817 on Apr 5, 2019, 5:38:54 PM
