GGG is ZERO help so let's get serious on why some players have major lags with Synthesis

LOL No. Those are just morons talking. Wife has brand new expensive gaming rig and same issue. Her new machine runs everything at full settings w/new Nvidia card and I don't know what all. Paid big money for it so I don't need an asshole telling me to buy yet another machine.

Paying 6k in one month? Sounds a little exorbitant to run a game from 2012. Just sayin.

PoE has issues and is unstable, that's it and the steamchart of current players is fastly going down every day. How many players like I have given up already on the game and this particular league, because of its unplayability?

I had no issue prior to patch 3.6.2, now I can't even play the game. This is a MAJOR issue for GGG and they should address/work their ass off on it, a part of the playerbase is out the game right now.

Same here, have a hexacore, 8gb ram and gtx750 not the best but untill now i didnt have problems with poe.
Since this league though especialy with syndicate and yellow+ maps its unplayable because of freezes and i havent even touched the game in 2 weeks. hurts me to see the game like this and that nobody from ggg is even mentioning the problem or if they are fixing it.

What really ices my chain is the complete total silence from GGG. There are literally hundreds on posts here and on reddit about this problem.

Nothing has been done and this game, which I hasten to add I love, remains totally unplayable.

Thx for sharing anything else? Not everyone has parents to buy them the newest shiny things. Some of us have responsibilities and cant afford new 2k+ computers.

I can hop on diablo 3, WoW, Grim dawn and other Arpgs/MMOs right now and not lag. Its largely an engine/coding problem.

then go and hop on those games because GGG wont do anything for people who cant upgrade their machines to run their game smoothly,whining on the forums is useless

The game works well without lags and stuttering the last leagues with an old mid-end PC. Now this league the syndicate is a mess.
You rly wanna tell me that after one patch you need a high-end PC to play this game properly?

not one patch but one new league. they keep adding new content making it harder for older PC's. and it will only get worse in the future when more stuff gets added to the game. i encountered syndicate several times today and as always no lags or freezes.

I would understand if everything would become shit, but pls its only the Syn ambush the rest works properly without any stutter or freezes.

I'm going to try to explain this again, real easy so anyone can understand it.

Just spent 3k on new high end gaming rig for wife (unrelated, her old PC died and she wanted something new and shiny wtf?). Has new gen intel, brand new shiny card, SSD, tons of RAM, etc.

My PC is only 1.5 years old and is hardly a fucking potato so there is no reason for this bullshit AT ALL. It runs every other fucking game perfectly and has never had a problem w/ PoE. Until now.

I'm not spending 6k one month to upgrade another PC which runs every other fucking game perfect because of this bullshit. My PC is fine. My card is fine.

Every other fucking game has settings turned up to max and runs smoothly.

What part of it is not the pc is hard to understand even if you were a 1st grade dropout?

this game runs fine for me and for the majority of players otherwise they would fix it,but there is nothing to be fixed. the problem is on your end. you can keep on raging on the forums or try and figure out what it is and fix it meanwhile i will enjoy this lag/freeze free game

This is what I did and it STOPPED:

First method:

Uninstalled PoE, reinstalled via Steam. Put in --nopreload in Steam, it stops this fucking bs but it takes a LONG time to load every fucking map.

But yeah it will work. No more lag, no more deaths.

Second method (I believe this comes from Paldamus, if I'm wrong pls correct):

Launch Poe, no --nopreload or anything appended to shortcut. I did this through Steam but no reason think it has to be through Steam. Go into task manager, details, find Poe, and click on affinity. Turn off all processors except one, then go off and get a drink or pee or something.
Go back in and turn on all the processors again. Then set priority to High.

Wait a few seconds before you go into a map or something. Runs fine.
